Government spending is out of control, and needs to be severely curtailed for the future of the country.
I can't imagine anyone objecting to the fairly meager cuts DOGE Is making, unless of course they are one of the people who have lost their job. Which is unfortunate, but necessary.
To make any real headway into the deficit and debt, there needs to be more painful cuts than what is happening now.

I'm pretty sure the people who voted for Trump did not expect an unvetted billionaire and his tech minions to be allowed to run roughshod through the federal government.

I think that Congress can do it with a simple resolution & majority Floor vote.

I think the mission statement of DOGE is fine, and I can't imagine that anyone would truly be against those goals. But the execution has been woeful. There is no real transparency or thought that's going in to their actions. As clearly evidenced by Musk's continued references to taking a chainsaw to government spending.

This process needs good analysis and a scalpel.

Why don't you tell us -what is it about DOGE that you don't like?

• Is it because they no longer think Teslas are a good symbol of how to change the climate of the entire planet?
• Is it a revelation to the Dems they are realizing that when you have a senile president in office that can no longer function as a world leader, they need to act quickly to get him/her out of office so that the party has a chance to survive before a momentous election just a few months away?

I support their removal from the government, Musk's deportation, and all his assets being frozen. I support Trump's removal from office, and his imprisonment until the day he dies at ADX Florence. I support Trump being placed on a no human contact order.

All DOGE members need to be investigated. Those responsible for bad behavior need to be put on trial.

Do people really care about park workers or fewer medical researchers?
How would you know that is going to happen.?

Do you think viewers of the nightly Leftist news plus PBS are going to be up in arms when they hear about some child whose disease will get worse because the cure for that particular disease has been cut off?
Or how about certain national campgrounds with fewer workers who can't process campers fast enough in the parks.?

It's really not bright to make statements about what a person thinks when you have no idea of a their background. First off I have never said anything about feeling sorry for any employee losing their job.....you simply made that up based on incorrect assumptions on your part. In fact I have participated several large downsizing, some successful, some not so much. None are fun. I have been there done that in real life and how this is being handled is unprofessional and non strategic....not a good mix for a successful outcome .
