The citizens of most nations surveyed liked Obama, hated trump, and now like Biden. Who can blame them?

As long as we have a levelheaded President, we won't go to war with China. It would cause an economic disaster for both countries, and then the world.

Yeah, there were polls here which had only 5% of Austrians with a positive view of Trump or Bush.

In a hypothetical vote, 90%+ would have voted for Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden over Trump ... 😀

It’s also astonishing that Merkel gets roughly the same favourable ratings here in Austria as she does in Germany.

Considering that her immigration policy between 2015-18 was not that popular at all here in Austria ...

Why wouldn't they??? He is half normal and fit for office. A big change from the unfit DJT.

Lol. I’m dying to know how Luxembourg polls.

That was because of the undue influence of Germany's far-right. Then the coronavirus came and reminded Deutschlanders what an effective leader she is.

:ROFLMAO: I gurantee if say, China were to invade Europe, they'd love them some America no matter who was President....

Lol. I’m dying to know how Luxembourg polls.

Almost all European countries (at least in the West and South) are strongly approving of Biden/Democrats and dislike Republicans.

Only in some Eastern European countries you can find a higher approval for Republicans, but even in such places like Poland etc. you won't get majority approval ...

But it would matter if Russia invaded Europe because Trump would praise Putin.

These countries citizens are of course a key voting block in US elections.

Over here we heard that Trump is no longer the US president. So it is unclear why he is still such an object of attention over there.

My reply was addressing another hypothetical about US presidents. All US presidents would've come to Europe's defense if Russia had invaded....except Trump.

He's still an object of attention because he still controls the GOP. If you over there follow the news then you should know that.

The US is a NATO member. The US would have an obligation to come to the aid of NATO members in Europe! Doesn’t matter who is US president.

And exactly how does Trump control the US GOP?

He is in your political wilderness. And there has only been one US President that served a single term and lost then came back to win a second non consecutive term. Over a hundred years ago so what are you so worried about?

Trump tried to pull the US out of NATO. If he had succeeded then the US would not have been obligated.

Trump controls the GOP with his charming personality, insistence on loyalty and threats of retaliation.

No one thought Trump would win the presidency in 2016, either...but he did.

As Americans we care about this why?

The US remained a NATO member through the entire Trump administration and he would have remained obligated to it had Russia attempted to invade Europe.

Believe what you will about Trump’s control over the GOP. I still think personalities like Dick Cheney are more influential.

Trump is more likely to be happy running his very lucrative businesses anyway.

And according to his biographer no one was more surprised by his win in 2016 than Trump

Being a member of NATO is no guarantee that Trump would've come to Europe's defense. In fact, he probably would've sided with Russia.

It's not my belief...it's a fact.

If you knew anything about Trump you'd know he's not happy unless he's the main attraction.

Well diethylene glycol is known to cause mental degeneration...

No, but they are reflective of the measure of American soft power.
It seems that the entire world will have to choose to be in the orbit of the US, Russia or China.

I personally have an interest in the US solely because I have so many friends and family there.
If I did not I would not care even a little bit about it’s dumb political structure.
