Axismaster said:Here are five facts about abortion I think that every pro-choicer needs to know about the founder of their movement.
1. Margaret Sanger, who started Planned Parenthood, called for the elimination of blacks and Jews, and believed that abortion and eugenics could be a vehicle for such.
2. Margaret Sanger would have admired Hitler. One of Adolf Hitler's first acts was to legalize abortion. He is also known for his forced abortions.
3. Margaret Sanger also believed that society should be a world where all white people go around and have sex with as many people as they want without ever getting pregnant.
4. Margaret Sanger was a near communistic socialist. She wanted a world with no freedom and no private property.
5. Margaret Sanger would probably be shunned as a neo-nazi for her extreme views on race and eugenics today, and she also believed that love was not real.
I don't see a single fact here, only ad homenin attacks against Margaret Sanger.Axismaster said:Here are five facts about abortion I think that every pro-choicer needs to know about the founder of their movement.

And that part indeed is unlikely; I'll write them and ask for it to be fixed. But the remark about the 99% is an understatement. It is more like 99.99% because the ability to feel pain doesn't arrive till more than 1.5 months later. And those really latre 3rd trimester abortions generally are for major fetal problems or the woman's health.talloulou said:I am not concerned about Margaret Sanger at all.
What I am concerned about is this fallacy on the planned parenthood website:
"Can an embryo or fetus feel pain?
We know for sure that the embryo or fetus cannot perceive pain in the nearly 99 percent of all abortions that occur before the 20th week of pregnancy. It is even possible that a fetus is unable to perceive pain at any time during pregnancy. "

Now, given your concern about inaccuracies on websites, I am very sure that you are gravely concerned over the many pro-life sites who insist that abortion can lead to breast cancer, right? because that certainly has been PROVEN a flat-out lie.
And you are also concerned about the many pro-life sites who lie so incredibly much as to claim the ability to feel pain before 20 weeks, some even at 8 weeks, right?

I'm clearly pointing out how not a single post you've made is a fact which is the claim of your title.Axismaster said:So are you defending that Hitler lover?
All I see are pro-life websites that spread lies. Perhaps you have some scientific publication to support your claims?doughgirl said:Interesting picture on this site....

Here are some facts about the largest abortion provider in the world.......
the organization Sanger founded Planned Parenthood.
http://www.rapidnet.com/~jbeard/bdm/Psychology/planp.htm
A pamphlet published by the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) in 1963 contained the following statement: "An abortion kills the life of the baby after it has begun. It is dangerous to your life and health. It may make you sterile so that when you want a child you cannot have it."
“FYI, 1963 is a bit obsolete.”
"Sanger advocated abortion as a means of eugenics, economics and sexual liberation. Of course after eugenics fell into disfavor following the holocaust her organization went underground. Guess what it surfaced as? PLANNED PARENTHOOD FEDERATION."
(Elasah Drogin, Margaret Sanger: Father of Modern Society, (CUL Publications, 1989), 11-13.)
Perhaps the entire constitution should be re-written then? That was nearly 200 year ago.doughgirl said:Obsolete?……Then the day when abortion became legal……1973……….You would agree that it was so long ago….we should do a revote? :rofl
We have more medical information today..............YES LETS VOTE AGAIN.
Yes a very desperate photoshop attempt to falsely portray her by the prolife side.doughgirl said:Cute picture of Sanger isn’t it? She founded Planned Parenthood.
Uh, normally I don't bother with you at all, but now I see what's happening here. You believe everything you see unchallenged!!doughgirl said:Interesting picture on this site....

Jerome LeJeune said, "To accept the fact that after fertilization has taken place a new human has come into being is no longer a matter of taste and opinion. The human nature of the human being from conception to old age is not a metaphysical contention, it is plain experimental evidence."
Dr. Hymie Gordon said, "But how can we say, unequivocally, that the question of when life begins is no longer a question for theological or philosophical dispute. It is an established scientific fact. Theologians and philosophers may go on to debate the meaning of life or the purpose of life, but it is an ESTABLISHED FACT THAT ALL LIFE, INCLUDING HUMAN LIFE BEGINS AT THE MOMENT OF CONCEPTION."
The father of modern fetology, Dr. A. Liley said, "this is the same baby we are caring for before and after birth, who before birth can be ill and need diagnosis and treatment jsut like any other patient."
Quoted in Willke and Willke, Abortion, page 52.
And this is why you're not taken seriously....we prefer debating with people who actually READ what was said:roll:Are you saying that all these sources I posted about Sanger are false?
Every one of them? Are you saying everyone of them are propoganda?
