5,000 US troops deploying to southern border in response to migrant caravan

That number was just upped to 15,000 troops by Trump.

He probably feels 'why not' since the Media is going to call him out on it anyway.

Can't really blame the military for this one. This one is all the orange clowns **** show. Now as a campaign gimmick he is upping the number.

It's up to the agent or soldier protecting the border to determine whether the entry is as foreign invader or foreigner seeking asylum.

The Constitution already establishes...

Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

The word “immigration” does not appear in the U.S. Constitution or any of its Amendments.

I'll help you. They're building the internment camps, communications and drone control sites, HQ sites, housing for more military to come and they're working on the WALL.

The timing is perfect.

And we're not scared.......we're PREPARED.

There is no Wall being built. Trump is wagging the dog -- playing on the fears of his weak-minded drones. What do you expect these poor immigrant families are going to do, rush the border? They are coming to request asylum -- something immigrants have been doing for generations.

Trump's "Operation Faithful Patriot", aka Operation White Fear, is even phonier than one can realize -- which is hard to manage. By law, the troops sent to the border basically won't be able to do anything. But it was always an exercise in theater.

Let's stop a minute to look at what is happening: Real adults, people who can go to the bathroom by themselves, are sending troops to the border to stop people fleeing persecution who plan to seek asylum. And they call it "Operation Faithful Patriot." Seriously.

Is this something named by George Orwell or by Monty Python? Well, we have "faithful" in the name, suggesting something religious, I suppose to appeal to part of his base, "patriot," no doubt to appeal to a second part, and "operation," suggesting that there is actually something for them to do. And in his spare time, he goes after the 14th amendment.

First, Obama wasn't born here, then ban Muslims, then Mexican rapists, now this horse****. What a guy!

Trump calling this an "invasion" when it isn't, is what gets his base agitated. It's an evil genius move.

Another tactic is telling Americans these people carry diseases, such as Polio (which was eradicated decades ago) and leprosy; that terrorists have infiltrated the caravan (a bald-faced lie) and anything else these liars will invent.

FDR told Americans, "there is nothing to fear but fear itself." Trump is telling American, "be afraid, be very, very afraid of whoever I tell you to be afraid of."
