Another poster who thinks making a show of pretending not to understand a point functions as an argument against that point, eh?

lol...I doubt this thread went the way he expected. Cue the tantrums and silliness.

All related to not wanting to pay taxes.

For now, more to come. With the latest bombshells dropped publicly, there is no doubt there will be more to come.

Yes, it's a sad story. He took an unpaid job with Trump to work out some debt to a Russian oligarch, and got his ass burned for a decade of criminal behavior. Poor thing. Maybe the lesson is if you're a criminal, putting a bullseye on your back by taking a high profile position with a lifetime con man running for POTUS is a bad idea!

Only if you do it with an unapproved con man.

We now know that Trump was compromised with the Russians. He denied he was dealing with the Russians to the American people during the campaign, while he was through back doors.

The question is, do you think a former KGB agent like Putin would take advantage of having a compromised American presidential candidate/POTUS? Do you?

Of all the stupid things to do, being compromised with one of your longest and most powerful enemies has to be at the very top of the stupid list for a presidential candidate. But then Trump is nothing if not an idiot. Or a moron. Take your pick according to numerous top admin officials.

You think you know but you don't. You never have and never will because you won't accept the realities that are in front of you.

Also, it's not a "sad" story or any other such nonsense you want to interject to try and diminish the points being made. It's a matter of government power and overreach. It's understanding that creating a group of people who can endlessly investigate anyone and everyone for w/e they want is a violation of the 4th amendment reeks of authoritarianism.

That's right, comrade. Good job.

Trump is destroying the right wing in this country. Now you're defending a criminal for being convicted of being a criminal....

How many medical bills could be paid with $30,000,000?

How many hungry people could be fed with $30,000,000?

How many vaccines could be paid for with $30,000,000?

How many girl scout cookies could be bought for $30,000,000?

How many police officers could be sensitivity trained for $30,000,000?

How many serious wounded vets could be treated with $30,000,000 of therapy?

$30,000,000 is the amount spent so far on the Mueller Investigations. Does the return warrant the investment of taxpayer money? If not, should the Democrats pick up the tab? Let's say just Bill and Hil, they can afford the bill.

Did you show the same concern over the money spent on the Whitewater and Benghazi investigations? If not, why not?

Well, that has always been the position of conservatives: Anti-law-and-ord..... Oh. Wait just a second....

Amazing how Trump got so many people to toss their principles out the window. Gotta give him credit, he can recognize an easy mark from a mile away.

Less we forget, Trump preferred his own transportation, as more luxurious, safer, than AF !, which was rejected in favor of the tin can with a Telephone because it wasn't vetted by the Secret Service which didn't have personal trained to use the available equipment, You'll have to do better.

What a bul**** statement, "trump prefers his own transportation when traveling as president". Because of national security concerns, that's impossible. You really can't be that dense?

You think you know but you don't.

We know. He was dealing with the Russians during the campaign, while he lied about it to the American people. That means he was compromised.

How about answering the question: Do you think Putin would take advantage of a compromised American POTUS?

It's understanding that creating a group of people who can endlessly investigate anyone and everyone for w/e they want is a violation of the 4th amendment reeks of authoritarianism.

The overreach here is to prosecute a guy who laundered $10s of millions, evaded taxes of many $millions, and engaged in bank fraud. So he's a crook, who expressed contempt for the laws of our country and was caught, and is paying the price. These aren't technical violations of the law - this was an elaborate and decade-long scheme to enrich himself at the expense of the law.

And Mueller answers to Rosenstein, who in turn answers to the President, and they all must answer your 4th Amendment concerns with the courts, which granted warrants, perhaps wiretaps, and Mueller charged Manafort and Manafort had his day in court, and he lost, when a jury convicted him of some of the crimes.

So Mueller simply cannot investigate whoever he wants for whatever he wants. He was appointed by a Trump appointed member of the DoJ to look into collusion between the campaign and Russia. His campaign manager has been neck deep in Russian contacts for a while now, and so the obvious place to start is with Manafort, the campaign manager, and following the money. It's inconceivable that ANYONE seriously looking at what Mueller was directly tasked with doing would not follow Manafort's corrupt money trail. And when they looked they found tons of evidence he's a common felon, and he's paying the price. I cannot see ANY abuse of the system. Investigating and prosecuting scum like Manafort is in fact part of what the FBI and DoJ are tasked with doing.

I don't understand it. The law and order Republicans are reduced to defending criminal scum because he was part of Trump's team.

Did you show the same concern over the money spent on the Whitewater and Benghazi investigations? If not, why not?

Yes, I believed they were also a waste of time and money. I felt the same of all politically motivated investigations, including HUAC.

Perhaps you should read his statement from his early campaign days.

Were he alive, you could speak with Walter Tobin, who justifiably, labeled our Secret Service as rank amateurs, correctly thereof. I trust my dog over the SS, and my dog is s 1st class coward.

Well, if Walter Tobin said it, whoever he is, it must be true.

BTW, if the Secret Service are rank amateurs, who are the pros in that endeavor?

Why Trump of course. He is the most bestest Secret Service agent ever! Nobody knows more about Secret Servicing than him! EVER!

Admit it, you haven't been keeping up with the Donald's latest tweets, like the base, have you?

So says his gut...

Read who's statement? trump's? You guys are always telling me to ignore his campaign rhetoric. I guess when his rhetoric supports your opinion, then it's ok to listen to his rhetoric?

Yes, I'll go research who Walter Tobin is so that I can get one guy's opinion of someone who agrees with you. A president and/or his family cannot go anywhere without secret service. It's been that way for decades. If trump promised to travel w/o their protection it was an empty promise because to do so is not possible.

You probably believe trump still intends to release his tax returns "after the audit is over", don't you?

In trump's case we have trump and several members of his extended crime family lying repeatedly about their meetings with the Russians. Something's being covered up by trump and his cronies regarding Russia and the American people have the right to know what it is.

Nope...wrong again, but I know nuance is super tough for you to get. I'm speaking out against government overreach, violations of the Constitution, and authoritarianism.

Repeating it doesn't make it true.

The people may have a desire to know, some of them perhaps, where is it written in stone as founding, some also a claim to be louse free, yet none offer proof thereof. His axis claims demand proof there, prove it or get hiking.

Thankfully none of that happened with the prosecution of Manafort, a career dirtbag criminal whose past finally caught up to him.

If everything was on the up and up about the meetings with Russia, why continually change the story and why lie about it?

More important, why does it matter? Seriously. For as long as I can remember the voice of the left demanded this nation speak with the Russians. John and Oko "Don't they also love their children." How did this all get turned around? How did it all get so f****d up!? Who is bull****ting who?

I don't give a god dam who is top dog. All I want is for my grand children and all those who follow them to not fight another war. Simple and plain. There is no glory in any of this politicization of hate. Show us how brave you are, how courageous to work for a common effort creating a better world. Nothing else matters, no bickering, no dick fights, mine is bigger than yours, none of it. I'm no Christian but I hope my great grandkids enjoy porn and not killing. You are all insane.

I hope someone is offended by my language. I am offended by the intent you all keep displaying.
