it's an interesting conversation. does a person want their (refrigerated) live saving drugs to be put in somebody's car (while probably not refrigerated) and taken to Jane Doe's house (with little or no oversite or control) so that they can then be rushed to a hospital/other house/nursing home/etc to save a life. at the pharmacies it's probably like "hey, Susan, take these boxes to Mary's house. she said she has room in her fridge beside the ketchup".

things aren't perfect there now so i guess there is no other options.

Is it just a coincidence that this domestic terrorist activity happened around the same time Trump instructed that his Big Lie believers were justified in ignoring the law and the Constitution?

Taking a chance for sure but better than not having any meds at all. However, hospitals have their own generators thus storing meds there could be arranged
 
here's the sheriff and the woman they ruled out (pic from 2020). she's the one who made the Facebook post about knowing something about the attack and the other comment about God.

here's what i'm having a hard time wrapping my head around...

  • a person (or persons) shoot up two or three substations.
  • she posts that she knows something
  • they have said it's not related to gay/trans/etc people
  • she says God works in mysterious ways (or whatever)

it's almost like she really does know something. like a fired worker taking revenge on Duke Energy or something else. it's just REALLY weird for any of us to say that "God works in mysterious ways" when some electrical equipment gets shot and people then get cold.

i certainly wouldn't be speaking of God if somebody shot up some telephone poles or maintenance trucks.

I have a problem with them using the word "vandalism".

"Vandalism" is when someone spray paints shit all over someone's property or tosses a brick through a window.
This is a terrorist attack on electrical substations.

Vandalism? Pffft!

i'm seeing a ton of people who are pissed that the cops prayed with a suspect. i disagree (and maybe it's because i've seen way too many episodes of Law & Order).

i say do whatever it takes (if you're an honest cop) to gain someone's confidence to keep them talking until they slip up. and if it's not them then the evidence will lead you elsewhere.

AND, if you have to say publicly that is suspect is cleared (when they're not) when it might help you then do it. finding and busting crooks or vandals or terrorists isn't easy work.
 
here's my uneducated guess.


the motivation for the shooting is going to be something totally off the wall that none of us expected.
