2028 Democratic Primary: The Way Too Early Poll

Who should win the Democratic Nomination in 2028?

What a bizarre and defensive reply to a very straightforward question.

So you have no definition of a "perfect" campaign or criteria that you used to make such a value judgment.

Why didn't you just say that instead of elaborately avoiding and obfuscating the question by irrationally lashing out?

It's like an epidemic here.

It's absolutely the case.

It's absolutely the case that you cannot provide your definition of a "perfect" campaign or the criteria that you used to make such a value judgment.

It's also absolutely the case that you're having way too much of an emotional overreaction for such a simple question.

Looks like the only one replying bizarrely and defensively is you.

Desperate projection. It's odd that such a simple question asking you to explain how you arrived at your own conclusions would result in this kind of reactivity.

I'll repost it so you can reconsider actually explaining your position instead of engaging in unnecessary and laughable posting theatrics:

What is your definition of a "perfect" campaign and what criteria are you using to make such a value judgment?

Dammit. He has an opinion and no one should ever question him on it!

It's like an epidemic here.

It's a great litmus test for reasoning skills in others if you simply ask them to explain their logical steps. Many people will happily oblige and a great discussion will ensue.

But then there are those who throw a fit about it. Those people obviously just make up things they want to believe and put no thought or logic into it whatsoever.

Imagine getting that emotional simply because someone else asks you, "How did you arrive at that conclusion?" Epidemic is spot-on.

IT'S NOT AN OPINION!!!!!!! IT'S A FACT AND IT'S TRUE BECAUSE HE SIMPLY DECLARED IT OUT OF THIN AIR!!!!!!$#^%^$&#$##@

People who live in their own left-wing or right-wing bubble have never had to explain it before. So when they're asked about it, they literally have no idea what to say. They're just repeating what they've heard on whatever news network, tv show, podcast, etc. And if you ask them to explain, there's something wrong with you. LOL!

I just fixed my car and did a PERFECT repair job. It's not starting now, the tires fell off of it, and just now it exploded in my face and will never run again, but all of that is irrelevant because I did a PERFECT job!!!!!

Yep, totally accurate. What a strange existence it must be to fall into a complete existential crisis merely because someone else asks you a question.

When I was a kid, we had to run a mile in PE. I ran a perfect mile. I finished in the middle of about 50 kids because I had to stop and walk a lot. I was huffing and puffing too. But I ran a perfect mile.

The definition of "perfect" is whatever we want it to be!

I HEREBY DECLARE MYSELF TO BE PERFECT. EVERYONE ELSE SHALL HENCEFORTH REFER TO ME AS "MR. PERFECT." AN ACCEPTABLE ALTERNATIVE SPELLING IS "MR. PURRRRRFECT." 😼

Hahaha. :)

Wait a minute....I think we may be having a simple miscommunication here.

It's obvious that @StarvedForChange simply meant that Kamala Harris ran a "purrrrrfect" campaign for all the cat peeps. And on that argument, I will concede. Her campaign was ABSOLUTELY purrrrrfect. 😻

The last ten Democratic nominees for President:

2024 - Kamala Harris (U.S Senator, Vice President)
2020 - Joe Biden (U.S Senator, Vice President)
2016 - Hilary Clinton (First Lady, U.S Senator, Secretary of State)
2008 & 2012 - Barack Obama (U.S Senator)
2004 - John Kerry (U.S Senator)
2000 - Al Gore (U.S Senator & Vice President)
1992 & 1996 - Bill Clinton (Governor)
1988 - Michael Dukakis (Governor)
1984 - Walter Mondale (U.S Senator, U.N Ambassador, Vice President)
1980 & 1976 - Jimmy Carter (Governor)

Seven were U.S Senators. Three were Governors. Four were former Vice Presidents.

According to the latest Echelon Insights and Morning Consult polls, Kamala Harris is averaging about 42%, Gavin Newsom & Pete Buttigieg at 8%, Tim Walz at 7%, and Josh Shapiro at 6%. Democratic voters still really love Harris, despite losing the popular vote and getting less electoral college votes than Hilary Clinton. All five of those names will be in the poll.

I will add Gretchen Whitmer (Governor of Michigan 2019-present), Wes Moore (Governor of Maryland 2023 to present), and Andy Beshear (2019-present). My wildcard entry here is going to be Jon Stewart.

Please pick three candidates.
I don’t have a name as I think someone we don’t have the foggiest idea of today may become the nominee. Very few heard of Jimmy Carter in 1975 or Bill Clinton 1991 or even Barrack Obama in 2007. Outside of their state, they were virtually unknown to most of America.

Tammy Duckworth the senator from Illinois is one I am going to keep track of. She’s spunky and a vet. But if I had to choose someone from your list, my second choice would be Andy Beshear.

Actually I can be very funny....I can also call out BS when I hear it.

Kamala: "I wouldn't have changed anything"

She co-sponsored a bill to socialize all healthcare in America (“Medicare for All,” they call it) and explicitly said private insurance should be illegal.

“There’s no question,” Harris stated in 2019. “I’m in favor of banning fracking.” This would lead to OUR nation depending on other nations for our fuel needs.

Green new Deal- Harris was one of the original sponsors

She co-sponsored a bill to legalize abortion “without limitations.”

She raised money for arrested rioters whose politics she supported.

She argued that illegal entry shouldn’t be a crime

Harris believes everyone can “end up in the same place. This is a central principle of Communism (or leftism if you prefer)

Numbers don't lie.

Not that it matters. You're going to believe what you want. Go for it. I don't care. My part of this thread is done.

tl:dr. When people post MAGA rants it's like white noise to me.

Still triggered and can't "quit" me? I can't help you.

What do you consider a "perfect campaign"?

He won't answer because he knows he can't provide a response that makes any sense. So he'll just continue lashing out with irrational desperation. It's very sad to see adults act in such a way.

You might notice your citation is an opinion piece.

Since you"re done I'll just leave you something else to ponder:

Sorry Wiki is not an accepted reference for your work. Grade? ZERO.
LOL, it's a step up from opinion pieces and your imagination......

I'm sure you didn't even bother to take a look....

Harris isn't "far left". She's sort of left.

Bill Clinton was a centrist. Obama was a centrist.

Biden is a centrist.

Hillary Clinton is a centrist.

I really don't know how you come up with "the far left wing of the party has pretty much dominated the Democrats for the last five elections." From a factual point of view, your analysis is way off the mark. Looks as if you're repeating a MAGA talking point that doesn't represent reality.
You are another Democrat driving in the left side ditch, looking at the center line as "far right".
