My vote would be for George W. Bush.
He was both bad and an ass.
historians tend to be-on average-leftwing moonbats. ranking FDR as #1 only proves what a joke that poll is. and rating obama so early (or W as well) shows that its full of weasel dung
Another presidential poll was conducted by The Wall Street Journal in 2005, with James Lindgren of Northwestern University Law School for the Federalist Society.[7] As in the 2000 survey, the editors sought to balance the opinions of liberals and conservatives, adjusting the results "to give Democratic- and Republican-leaning scholars equal weight." Franklin D. Roosevelt still ranked in the top-three
Welcome back!lame beyond belief.
lame beyond belief.
Oscar - you need a sense of humor... lighten up ... enjoy.![]()
really!?!?!?
what about the poll conducted at the behest of libertarians and conservatives for the Wall Street Journal a few years ago?
Republican-leaning scholars
I have a wonderful sense of humor....your post just wasn't that funny.
Barney tells a joke. Everyone laughs, except Hannah]
Hannah Stubbs: I see that it's funny. I have a sense of humor.
Barney: Of course you have a sense of humor. Everyone thinks they do, even people who don't.
I wonder why you failed to find it funny?
:lamo republican-leaning scholars are almost as rare as honest politicians
The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a group of conservatives and libertarians interested in the current state of the legal order. It is founded on the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be. The Society seeks both to promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application through its activities.
Why the hell do you care what the Federalist Society thinks? For those who may not know - this is from their home page of the Federalist Society..
emphasis added
Their hand picked panel of experts also rated FDR as GREAT.
I was surprised that Truman didn't make the list. Anyone who authorizes the dropping of a nuke is pretty badass.

You have a very odd obsession.
Oscar - you totally are misrepresenting the Federalist Society/Wall Street Journal study. The panel was hand picked to intentionally give a tilt to conservatives as opposed to liberal Democrats like FDR who the libertarian crowd feels is the Son of Satan. But when these hand picked experts picked the best Presidents, surprise surprise, there was FDT listed as a GREAT PRESIDENT.
You are aware of the Federalist Society are you not?
Keep thinking that, champ. :lamoNow who the hell has a weird obsession? And yours seems to be with me. But I get it. I really do. The greatest crime in the eyes of a True Believer is for a non-believer to speak the truth. Continue please.
Keep thinking that, champ. :lamo
It is pretty funny you say that because two of my professors this semester are pretty conservative.
what the hell are you even talking about????
It is difficult not to when you do it so often and with such anger. Only you can correct and change that.
