There are some who call themselves Christian who obviously refuse to accept the common understanding of the Constitution's protection of "freedom of religion"

Rick Wiles: ‘You Don’t Have The Right To Worship Lucifer In This Country’

End Times radio host Rick Wiles appeared on a program hosted by Greg Hunter of USAWatchdog.com over the weekend, where Wiles declared that people have no right to worship Satan in America and warned that doing so will bring destruction on this nation.

Wiles said that our society “has been sterilized of God” and “Satan is now coming in to fill the vacuum” and is outraged by reports that city officials in Boca Raton, Florida, are allowing a satanic display to be erected in a city park during the holiday season. The display is meant to protest the Christian displays that are erected in the park around Christmas and Wiles is furious that city officials are allowing this to happen because satanists do not have any rights whatsoever.

“What is happening to this country?” Wiles asked. “We’ve lost our mind. And the city council and the mayor say, ‘Well, these satanists have their rights too.’ No, they don’t. They don’t have any rights. You don’t have the right to worship Lucifer. I’m sorry, but this country was founded by Christians, you don’t have the right to worship Lucifer in this country. You’re going to bring damnation and judgment on the nation.”

You shouldnt. The OP is simply trying to smear Christianity in a way he would wail and gnash his teeth about were the same tactic used against Islam.
 
It still confuses me when people think Satanists actually worship the devil. The Church of Satan is a group of atheists that essentially created a "religion" to mock religion. Some people are just way too gullible.

A radio host is of the opinion we don't have the right to worship Lucifer.

If the opinions of radio hosts were reality, we'd have a very different world.

Yea, they are definitely pretty dumb, but believing they actually worship the devil is equally stupid. They point blank tell you they are atheists on their website.

I know it doesn't seem possible for some people to understand that attacking a loon like Rick Wiles is in no way an attack on Christianity but then some do prefer grouping all of their opponents into one group. It seems to be an innate trait found in the most fearful, an inability to accept the concept of complexity in social interactions.
 
What does the devil stand for? I need to read his newsletter before I go all in.

In general atheism isn't a religion, but in the Church of Satan's case I guess they figured that since they all followed the same philosophy, and were guided by the same book, it might as well count as one.

That's not entirely true. Some Satanist do worship Satan. Your comment is like saying all Christians are Catholics or all Muslims are terrorists.

I knew a Satanist in the Marine Corps and he passionately told me about his worship of Satan. And some of their beliefs.

I've also known a Protestant--military veteran too--who used to be a Satanist. As in he actually used to worship Satan.

You're confused why folks think that a group of folks calling themselves "Satanists" worship Satan? I'm sure they're just RL trolls as you say and for that reason they're not owed any kind of benefit of the doubt regarding their actual beliefs or lack of beliefs.

I'm confused as to why people make big assumptions without looking into things. It took me about a minute to find out they are mostly just trolls. There are thousands, if not millions, of Christians that believe Satanism is a real thing in America because of dumb stories like this.

They adopted a name that was intended to give the impression they're Satan worshippers so they have nothing to complain about. If I called myself a Mansonist to troll someone, I'd have nothing to complain about if they thought I was actually a follower of Manson.
