Yes, the names were different than o[n the warrant but that doesn't mean that the warrant was invalid. A search warrant is for a place so law enforcement has the right to search the place for the person or persons that may be named in the warrant. If the named person or persons aren't present that doesn't mean that the person that is present isn't harboring them and that is why the "search" is included in the warrant. The warrant had names listed. They knew the minute they went in they had the wrong family and still proceeded to violate this family’s rights. She told them they had JUST MOVED IN
And you know that's the way the warrant was obtained? Please, fill in the blanks for us because I sure haven't seen that part of the equation reported yet.No. The mere existence of a warrant does not mean a good investigation was done. Finding that a suspect might have lived at an address within the last 10 years or even the last year is not itself "an investigation" worthy of a warrant.
Since they didn't know that the people they had a warrant for didn't live there, something that should be very easy info to obtain if you are truly investigating a situation, then that in itself is evidence of their either incompetence in investigating, negligence, or pure lack of caring. And you know that's the way the warrant was obtained? I think that we can easily determine that the warrant was bullshit because innocent people had their house raided and property seized by the Government.OK. So you know the warrant was complete bullshit because.....uhhhh....because.....well...because Rachael had the story on her show tonight and Rachael is the savior of the American people and she's neverr wrong and PLEASE let this be true because so much of the other bullshit we believe has turned out to be bullshit and this one HAS to be true because I'm freaking out!!!
Is that about the way this is all working for you so far?
Why is this news? Happens all the time. The left cheers when someone they dislike gets 'swatted' yet this account makes them outraged. LMAO.So Trump's ICE thugs raided a house of citizens because they didn't appear to know that the current residents were not their targets.
‘We’re citizens!’: Oklahoma City family traumatized after ICE raids home, but they weren’t suspects

And now Trump wants to put the military onto our streets? **** this fascist orange clown.
MAGA doesn't care.
Who on the left cheers someone getting swatted? Why is this news? Happens all the time. The left cheers when someone they dislike gets 'swatted' yet this account makes them outraged. LMAO.
Another loathsome piece of human detritus, Netanyahu, says the same after every Israeli war crime."this is unfortunate"......said by "good germans" as millions of Jews were shipped to death camps.

The fact that the person or persons identified on the warrant were no longer living at the given address, in this particular set of circumstances, does not mean that the warrant was invalid. Furthermore, we don't even know what the warrant was for because that wasn't reported. This appears to have been a criminal warrant, not merely something for detaining an illegal alien. There also seems to have been a search of the residence which indicates that they were looking for some THING, not just for "someone".I think that we can easily determine that the warrant was bullshit because innocent people had their house raided and property seized by the Government.

What seems to be happening here is that some local news outlet latched onto a human interest story, only has one side of the story, and then ran with the story in a way that makes it look like the federal government is terrorizing innocent people for no reason whatsoever....and a whole mess of you are buying that because it validates your fears. All I'm suggesting is that there are a LOT of indications that this story appears to be seriously incomplete and that a prudent person might want to hold off on their full blown freakout until they can fill in some of those blanks with something other than speculation.
These folks were all American citizens. Their home was destroyed, all their cash taken, not even a business card from anyone who raided them and at the time of this reporting, the Marshals claimed they weren't there, the FBI claimed they had nothing to do with it and DHS refused to answer anyone's questions. This is unfortunate, but you forgot to tell us why this mistake was made? Was it corrected when they realized there was a mistake made? The nation is overrun with millions of immigrants who illegally entered the country and that is a felony, a crime and one that in many cases can end in immediate deportation even without what many would claim was lack of due process, but that's the law.
Under certain circumstances, including being apprehended near the border and within a short timeframe after entering the country, undocumented immigrants can be subject to expedited removal. This process allows for immediate deportation without a formal court hearing.
- Individuals who already have a removal order in place, such as those who missed a court date or were previously found deportable, may not be granted a new hearing before being deported.
- Asylum seekers must make a formal request for asylum within the first year they are in the country.
Nope. The fact that the person or persons identified on the warrant were no longer living at the given address, in this particular set of circumstances, does not mean that the warrant was invalid.
Why did they not have someone watching the house to ensure their suspects didn't leave, since they knew they were getting a search warrant for the house? Either they weren't doing due diligence by actually taking care to watch the house or they didn't care, and used it as an excuse. The fact that the person or persons identified on the warrant were no longer living at the given address, in this particular set of circumstances, does not mean that the warrant was invalid. exactly.....and apparently the other people had been gone more than one month.Since they didn't know that the people they had a warrant for didn't live there, something that should be very easy info to obtain if you are truly investigating a situation, then that in itself is evidence of their either incompetence in investigating, negligence, or pure lack of caring.
Lie.Why is this news? Happens all the time.
So, you think what happened to this family is a good thing?Liberals are so good at whining.
It's been out for a day and no one from the government is pushing back against what has been reported. The fact that the person or persons identified on the warrant were no longer living at the given address, in this particular set of circumstances, does not mean that the warrant was invalid. It was a mistake to seize their electronics, cell phones and money even after knowing they had the wrong family? That seems like more than a mistake. That is an obvious mistake, but better verification is needed before law enforcement does this stuff.
MAGA doesn't care, as you see in this thread.the warrant became invalid the minute that it was clear that this was the wrong family.
