  • Too bad there's no chance of a second ref coming out saying Death cheated behind the first ref's back and thus Dusty is actually the winner of the match. RIP
I was watching. Insane! I figured we'd get a screwy finish, or an Owens loss on a fluky thing like a rollup while being cocky while destroying Cena. Loved it. Absolutely fine with Cena getting his win back in 2 weeks as well.
I didn't even know TNA was still a thing. I thought they died at the end of last year
Just got around to watching the most recent NXT Takeover. What a great show. Loved this comic....

Nice. I keep waiting for him to show up on TV. He was my favorite wrestler growing up back during the Surfer Sting era and a bit into the Crow era
I don't know if you keep up with basketball at all, but if you do you'll love these.

Definitely interesting, but I think his last take away is probably the best. Who holds the championship belt in and of itself doesn't have a huge impact on financials. Even when Cena wasn't champion he was often still a focal point, for example. Whlie Wrestlemania does impact things, it's not singular. I think the overall product probably impacts things more so than a singular champ.

It's definitely an interesting notion. It doesn't shock me that they fall back on Cena now, not because of the financial news recently but more because of the unexpected need to get the title on someone else quick due to DB's injury. They go to their comfort zone.
So Ambrose is totally turning at MITB and helping Rollins get the briefcase, establishing Reigns as the singular underdog face left of the shield...right?
No problem. I definitely view it as an interesting conundrum. I just dislike how hyper partisan culture seems to be becoming, and I disagree that comparing something as relatively evenly divided as gay marriage today to modern day support of slavery like one poster did, in terms of being reasonable to take action against rather benign levels of political activity.

You'll probably be one of the few to see my next post and know right away where my mind was somewhat going ;)
Never thought I'd see this; WWE article on ROH and it's influence The Ring of Honor influence: How one small wrestling company impacted WWE | WWE.com
Guessing you've heard about Punk? Sucks, but it's probably best for him in the long run since he seems burnt out
Wanted to thank you for your post in the disabled thread. A like just didn't seem enough. My mother's one of those types that doesn't have an outwardly obvious handicap, but does have one that is rather crippling at times. Appreciate the reasonable argument you put forth.
