    Why would prices decline if interest rates go down? Why would housing prices decline when there's a tariff on construction materials that further exacerbates an already bad supply shortage?

    So auto prices will go up x% due to the tariffs, or the same x% due to producing in the US which is more expensive and then the US doesn't receive tariff revenue. So who is benefiting here again?

    So your line of thinking is they should invest millions in "ramping up production in the US" only so that they can produce the same goods for greater cost? So literally invest millions of dollars for a net negative for everyone?
