I actually do not think it matters.
Trayvon induced a fear in Zimmerman. That is all that matters.

And since simply having a bag of radios swung at a person is enough requisite to induce the reasonable fear required to use deadly force, getting ones head slammed into concrete is more than enough to generate the requisite fear.

I would agree. I think it comes down to whether that fear is reasonable; ie. did he bring that fear on himself.

Zimmerman merits no sympathy nor justification. Citizens do not have the right to interfere in the non-criminal, private affairs of other citizens.

It doesn't matter if you think he's a dealer waiting for buyers by the convenience store or a thug casing a neighborhood for potential B&E's.

Your thoughts, your suspicions, your fears don't matter. If someone's conduct has breached neither law nor order, you have no right to do a thing except phone the authorities and witness a person's actions on public grounds.
