Zelensky Publicly Rejected Trump’s Peace Plan

I oppose the position of "might makes right" whether its advocated by you or the US government.

I'm, at least, consistent.
Consistently unable to face up to what the US does around the globe right up until the present.

I don't see total victory a possibility without other nations providing troops to fight.
Total loss could easily become the only possibility.
Thats what Z wants. He still wants those security guarantees as well. As a matter of fact he seems to want it all,
though just like Putin is willing to say differently. In this one he wants it ALL

He's going to get a rude awakening if he insists Ukr 's constitution governs any peace talk

For example, the Ukrainian Constitution attempts to cover every imaginable legal contingency and contains 161 articles. In comparison, the US Constitution contains a mere seven articles.

Another key complaint is that the Ukrainian Constitution essentially makes promises the government cannot keep. Citizens are assured of everything from free housing to free medical care and free higher education. In practice, this has proven impossible.

Why, so you can ignore it like every other link I’ve provided?

Why do you think ignoring reality can change it?

Never seen one.

Why do you now support "might makes right?"

Here's the link.

How convenient

So, how since “might doesn’t make right” when are the US forces being pulled out of Iraq and Syria, as the locals have been demanding for years now?

We are aware of the difficulty in leaders following a Constitution.

You don't support it there, but support it here. Why the inconsistency?

Its a simple question.

Way to dodge the question.

Given your assertion, you must support American troops being forced to leave Iraq and Syria, in accordance with the locals’ wishes, right?

You don't run from the "might makes right" argument, do you? Isn't that what "don't have the cards" is all about?

So you cannot explain your inconsistency. Ok.

Trump's a scofflaw. Always has been, but now he's a SCOTUS scofflaw.

So you cannot explain your inconsistency. Ok.
So since you keep dodging, I’ll have to chalk that up as you saying no, you don’t support American troops being forced to leave Iraq and Syria in accordance with the locals’ wishes.

As a result, your claim that you don’t support “might makes right” is clearly blatantly untrue.

You do support it whole heartedly, when it comes to Russia. Nice double standard.

You claimed you don’t support it, but you very clearly do.

Which makes your accusations meaningless.

Zelensky needs to STFU because if we stop financing his war, his ass will be in a Russia work camp soom. Ingrateful asshole.

Uncle Sam forbid we're ever in a situation where compromising the US Constitution offers a way out of a conflict. MAGAs will call anyone who objects a warmonger.

I'm pretty sure Zelensky is fully aware of where he stands with Trump ever since Trump tried to extort him.

He has been buoyed up by all the people that claim to support him...and he actually believes they are willing to fight alongside him...err...alongside the kids he is seizing off the street and pushing into combat.

^ about sums it up. Both Z and Putin are petulant with promises to soothe Trump , Sooner or later Trump is going to walk away
( I think Congress already has) and then Z has to rely on Europe which talks a big game but wont do much

Fine by me of course. Europe can put up or shut up, What happens to Ukraine is their problem -not the USA's

Zelensky has known the score since Trump tried to extort him. He's not an idiot. Neither is the rest of Europe.

Why would any one support Ukraine giving up part of its country to an attacker? Even Trump knows that is impossible.

After Ukraine's failed counter-offensive in the summer of 2023, for example, the merits of supporting Kyiv were increasingly questioned by an influential minority of US Republicans and pleas were starting to be passed over in some quarters.
Maria Zolkina, head of regional security and conflict studies at the Democratic Initiatives Foundation, a Kyiv-based think tank, believes Zelensky is partly responsible.
"He and his close circle relied on the logic that they must always be demanding when speaking with their partners - pushing the argument that Ukraine simply needs something. That worked really well during 2022, but with the US and others this kind of messaging stopped working in 2023," she argues.
"But his diplomacy really didn't adjust quickly enough."

because Z is losing ground. Because more US aid is at least in doubt, so it's better to give up Crimea ( which has been done de facto) and some eastern/south oblast territory..The problem now is Putin doesnt want to stop the war because he is "winning"
Z needs to stop making these unconditional statements
