Along those lines, yes, Biden and the Europeans did not give them what they needed soon enough. And in regard to what they gave him it came with restrictions. For instance, it was near the end of Biden's term that they gave the Ukrainians permission to use the weapons inside Russian borders. They were too afraid of escalation. F-16s from our allies would have perhaps made a difference early in the war, however Biden was very late in approving that. Its as if many wanted the war to go on longer.

The Ukrainian military is a very able fighting force, however without munitions and satellite intelligence from the US and Europe, they would have fallen in the first six months. It was not all Zelensky.

Such as? We have given them javelins, Himars, Abrams tanks, etc. Indirectly F-16s. How much more hardcore do you want to get? F-35s? F-22s? B-2s? US troops? Hardcore without escalation fears early in the conflict would have made a difference. Not so much now. The Ukrainians are clever, however at this point it has "quagmire" written all over it. It's more or less a war of attrition. It looks like a forever war.
