We all saw that "begging" for help play out with Trump skiddaddling as fast as his fake bone spurs would allow after Carney served notice Trump's first attempt to engage the press with more of his bullcrap lies and nonsensical blather.

Trump, at least being smart enough to know when he was among his obvious betters not predisposed to letting him run his mouth, decided it would be prudent to bugger off back among his low I/Q supplicant peer group and erect a couple of flag poles instead.

Why should he do that as long as Trump keeps indicating he "wants" something from Ukraine, either for himself or his bestie Vlad's Oligarchs?
Zelenski is the one capable of "reading the room" as opposed to Trump living in his own narcissistic fantasy.

Actually, Trump seems to be the only one in political power that wants that war to end. I know Putin does not want it to end any time soon. I am not sure Zelensky does either. And there are many politicians both in the US and Europe who appear to not want it to end any time soon. Many must be getting lobbied hard by the defense industry. Personally, I would love to see Ukraine win it, however it has long term quagmire written all over it. I wish both sides would directly talk to each other.
