Zelenskiy to Biden: give us clear 'yes' or 'no' on Ukraine NATO path

This thread has nothing to do with Trump. Can you stop bringing his name into every thread? We get it. You miss him. But you should focus on what's being discussed. It's Ukraine, not the fat man who lost the election.
The OP ran with fake news and they're deflecting to Trump.

Way to put the cart before the horse, O/P.

President Biden was asked about Ukraine joining NATO's membership action plan during a press conference in Brussels, Belgium. The president said it would depend on Ukraine and if they "meet the criteria" of a member nation, but "school's out on that question."June 14, 2021

We know who Fox News supports:

We know who WaPo supports:

- Oct. 2019: Referred to terrorist group Islamic State's leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as an "austere religious scholar" in a headline when announcing his death (the first draft of the headline was worded: "Islamic State's terrorist-in-chief" but then edited it to "austere religious scholar"...obviously to avoid hurting the feelings of Islamic extremists).

- Jan. 2020: In a repeat of showing sympathy to dead terrorists, WaPo referred to Qasem Soleimani (a General in the Iranian military's Quds Force) as "Iran's most revered military leader" in a headline announcing his death when he was killed in a U.S. drone strike.

You were PPCLI?
Respects.

They came from a 10/90 Bn in BC with no kit and few Reg Force soldiers
The Military face for C19 rollout, B Gen Brodie, I worked for her

the cult's media embracing the cult leader's mob boss
raise your hand if you are surprised

I posted a tweet by the president of Ukraine. lol...
You got tolled by the president of the Ukraine, trying to wag the dog.

I only understood about half of that. No military background.
I worked years ago with a guy who had been a weapons tech with the Pricess Pats, mostly in Germany he said. He was old enough to be my Dad back then so he's probably moved on by now. He was a biker type when I knew him and wore a spur on one boot. I never asked why, was that a thing from the PPCLI?
I read that they were so well trained that American commanders in Afghanistan sometimes used them as special forces.

Actually, it's a very good news source....especially if the tweet was written by a credible journalist or a public figure or official or someone with first hand knowledge. More often than not, by the time the MSM covers the story....it's old news because they still have to verify everything.
I don’t make the rules here……..🤷

If it were up to trump he would have pulled us out of NATO...
he just used his favorite tactic: do whatever is necessary to divide the players
notice how well it worked with the US population?

You might want to pass your surly orders onto the O/P ...

But you can decide for others what a news source is?
Not sure why you are bringing more attention to this poorly thought out thread.

Where is a source in the first post in this thread?

I don’t see how this is actually feasible unless a deal can be struck as to the sovereignty question over Crimea and Eastern Ukraine…

Because as Ukraine would see it, they have been invaded and part of its territory is under the control of a hostile foreign power…

So I just don’t see how this is going to work.
Yep, that's a big sticking point and I suspect NATO isn't really keen on provoking Russia by addressing any of this unless there's been some massive strategy sea change we're not aware of.

But NO ONE was tougher on Russia than trump... right? lol

You're not allowed to mention Trump's name on this thread. See Tres Borracho for additional details... ;)
The OP ran with fake news and they're deflecting to Trump.

The O/P was the first to mention Trump's name too; Post number six...

Nice whine.

I worked in the RQMS, I was the TQ, Sgt. Rank, Basically everything the unit needed in Garrison or deployed comes thru a Supply Technician,MOC 911, which was my trade
All kit in or out went thru us
CO started up a sniper team when I was there.
Cdn troops including the snipers in particular worked with US troops in AStan and in particular Tora Bora

Shortly after the 4 soldiers were killed, another 3rd BnPlatoon was out on patrol, US aircraft dropped a dumb bomb, landed about 100 ft or so from them, and did not explode.
God awful lucky

From what I recall an Infantry Platoon averaged 28-30 soldiers per Platoon
3 PPCLI is a Light Infantry Battalion.
Or as they say in a Mechanized Battalion, a speed bump

The 3rd Battalion Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (3PPCLI) is based at Steele Barracks, CFB Edmonton, Alberta. The battalion is a light infantry unit of the Regular Force, and the only one in Western Canada.[b 6] The battalion is composed of three rifle companies, one combat support company and one combat service support company. 3PPCLI also maintains an airborne and mountain operations capability. The commanding officer (CO) is Lieutenant-Colonel A.N. Moore, CD[b 7] The regimental sergeant major is Chief Warrant Officer J.G. Pickard, MSM, CD.[b 8]

Had a link in the OP to the original tweet I found. The user deleted it so that is why it isn't showing now. Then found the President of Ukraine's tweet and linked to it but in a later post.

Why would that be rooting for him? Do nations you don’t like not revere their generals? That statement is not biased at all.
