Rand Paul was not incorrect in what he said and his ban was most likely due to political animosity and a fervent desire of the ideological left and their propagandists in the media to promote a culture of fear rather than a culture of understanding with regard to the COVID virus.

A mask no matter how protective is only as good as it's wearer. There are so many morons using all types of masks. They wear them on their chin, under their nose, they pull them up and down while talking, hang them on their neck, etc. My bet is most people wearing a mask do that. They will tell you they wear a mask but they don't see how ridiculous it looks and that it negates the purpose. You would need mask police at all places to have a mask mandate, or make everybody wear a body cam with an eye in the sky...then what would you do with all the offenders? Don't taze me bro!
