I suggest that it will be no collusion and no legal obstruction. Mueller is at heart a GOPer and this whole thing has been a way to set up the Dems with Mueller working with the GOP and Trump to help the GOP retake Congress and keep the White House in 2020. In the end Mueller will be given a big job with some GOP controlled law firm. That is my conspiracy theory, what is yours?

Don't see that at all.

He assembled a hit squad to get the President. It didn't work. I think he remains quiet to protect himself from future entanglements over the process he oversaw.

Democrats are going to be SO happy after this. Finally, the truth they've known all along will be revealed and Trump will be hauled off to jail.
 
My theory, which I expressed months ago, was that the Dems would throw Mueller under the bus when he failed to deliver what they wanted. That wasn't actually a theory so much as like predicting that the sun would come up.

He’ll say something like “in a new administration full of civilians who don’t appreciate the shark tank atmosphere of politics, mistakes were made in responding as a civilian might when accused of a crime he didn’t do.”

“To do a fine tooth comb legal top to bottom inquisition would disadvantage any outsider who challenged the intrenched political cadre the founding fathers tried to prevent. Doers actually do things other than cash government checks.”

“Legally, the obstruction charge has no weight because the Russia probe was a miscarriage of justice, and thus never deserved proper legal treatment by the accused.”

“I found no crimes by Clinton, Inc. because I want to retire and buy a boat and not be found tied to it’s anchor 30 feet down.”

Simple. They'll trash him in the media. Mueller was the great hope of the Dems to get Trump. Let Mueller finish! was the refrain we heard over and over again. Well, after 22 months and 35 million dollars, hundreds of interviews and millions of pages of documents, he did finish and he failed to find what the Dems wanted. Remember, too, that this investigation was conducted almost 100% by partisan Democrats including several extremely close to Hillary Clinton. If there were any crimes to be found, they would have found them.
 
Cannot indict a sitting President. Indictment was not an option! DOJ policy factored in the the decision. Punt to Congress....

Wow, That changed fast. He went from the pride of the Democratic party with his 14 democrat assassin squad indicting everyone possible to get them to turn on Trump to a GOPer in less than a day. But as per usual, the Democratic party flips like this pretty much on a weekly basis when they don't get what they want so no big surprise there.

He was hired by Rosenstein and all appointed special counsels work for the president. Thats not saying anything. Did you think Trump hired 14 Democrat lawyers to investigate him as well. Sorry if I don't ever recall 14 republican counsel members investigating Clinton. Must have missed that one.

Even with the most lopsided investigation to date they couldn't come up with a crime. Now thats saying something.

Well I was wrong, he just wimped out on the obstruction issue. He would not say yes or no, just wimped out all together. I was hoping for a yes or no just to get the whole thing over with. Now this will drag on for years as trump fights everything in court. If I was him I would let the Dems impeach him in the House knowing that the GOp in the Senate would never convict and remove him from office. It would actually help his reelection campaign in 2020. I do wonder about whether it is unconstitutional to indict a president while in office. I wish that opinion would goo to SCOTUS so we would know that issue for the future.

I disagree, Mueller’s hands were tied. He stated that this matter cannot be settled by the Justice Department. He pointed the way forward.
