I'm gonna go ahead and fly my freak flag and say that I LOVED Zoobilee Zoo.
This show that Fergie started on looks about as cheesy-80's as it gets, lucky for her I guess it wasn't too popular:Ahhh...poor Alanis never did shake off the stigma of having been on that show.
Robotech was the best hands down and the first example of the anime genre that I am aware of.
I picked "The Gummy Bears." This show not only had action and adventure, it was also smart and remained family friendly.
Here's another anime, one that was produced in Japan in 1988. Fun Fact: This show was produced by Haim Saban, who would go on to found Saban Entertainment, which created "The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" and similar live action shows from the 1990's.
Was I the only nerd that loved MathNet on Square One?
And...who remembers Captain Caveman?
Capt' Caveman was the late 70's

I was into Doctor Who and Star Trek from an early age. But I thnk I liked Scooby Doo and Electric Company when I was younger than 8
