WTH is with Trump's increasing support from People of Color?

They like the OG's and the bling. Trump is the coach Prime of Presidents.

This is incredibly disappointing. Why in the world are they going for a literal white nationalist president?

I fear we have too many Voters of Color who have been deprived of education via systemic racism who are vulnerable to voting for racist candidates.
Wasn't it Biden who said something to the effect that blacks and hispanics are too dumb to know what's good for them?

Sounds like you agree with him.

Because the other "white" guy isn't doing anything for them like he promised.

I think we have to be careful about thinking of people of color as a monolith. People can have multiple, different identities, and they have different identities when they vote.

Haven't read the article but I'd like to see a breakdown of the different demographics within these groups, according to age, gender, religious denomination, rural/urban, level of education, occupation and income levels. There's a lot to parse here, not just membership to a race.

People of color make up nearly half of Biden transition team

www.cnn.com/2020/11/15/politics/biden-transition..

As President-elect Joe Biden prepares to take office in January, nearly half of the transition team laying the groundwork for his administration is made up of people of color, and women are in the majority.

Forty-six percent of the transition staff are people of color, according to new diversity data of the transition team provided to CNN, and 41% of the senior staff are people of color. The majority of transition staff – 52% – are women, and 53% of the senior staff are women.

The new diversity figures come as Biden is set to announce his Cabinet picks and senior staff for the White House in the coming weeks – one of the first tests of his campaign pledge to build an administration that will “look like America.”

Biden’s first major step toward diversity in his administration came when he selected Kamala Harris, a Black and South Asian woman, as his vice president. In his first staffing announcement, Biden chose a White man and longtime adviser – Ron Klain – as his chief of staff for the White House.

The transition team’s diversity also extends to its advisory board – where 43% are people of color and 52% are women. Nine of the 13 members of Biden’s Covid-19 advisory board are people of color and five of the members are women, according to the data.

I would say it’s a failure of the Democratic Party to address the material needs of working people, despite pandering directly to minorities for years

I think it's overblown. You won't suddenly see them out in droves voting for him.

I'm hitting a paywall. Too bad because I'd like to read the OP link.

Not complicated. People of color were doing well under Trump's administration. I'm guessing they would like to get back to that.

The leftist propaganda makes race and the downtrodden minorities... gays...blacks...etc. a big selling point. They say "we are the good guys!".
But it's all bullshit. They want power. They want to change America into a socialist perversion of itself. They're liars. Some of their followers still believe they're the "good guys".
They aren't. Don't fall for the scam.
You want things to stay the same? Vote for them. You want a job, and a better life? Vote for a populist Republican.

Mexicans and older black men will vote (R) because they work for a living and they strongly believe in stability & law and order. Young blacks and their single moms will vote (D) because they 100% bought into the narrative of being a victim of white supremacy.
