WOW! Dems Take SHOCK LEAD in Races NO ONE EXPECTED

Partisans got what they wanted, it just hasn't been super good for the country. None of it. Acting like bullies will get us nowhere.

When billions are spent pitching the kind of poutrage moral panic nonsense we have seen for the past four years, the spending parties EXPECT RESULTS.
Every single bully was bought and paid for...even if they don't realize it yet.

Now is not the time to behave the way "good Germans" behaved in the 1930's and what's more, they won't get away with saying that they didn't know this time around.
If comparisons to 1930's Germany makes anyone uncomfortable, okayfinewhatever.....RWANDA in the 1990's, mmkay?

The mid-terms of 2026 are going to be very interesting.

Again that is wrong. Gaetz wrote that he would not take the oath for a new term. The ethics investigation would also be reopened and the report might be released too.
Either way, your phony shock claim that the democrats will get within two reps of the republicans is just an attempt at gaslighting.

'Enough already': Mike Johnson panicking as GOP may only have 1-seat House majority

November 27, 2024

Excerpt:
"President-elect Donald Trump is set to take office in January with a razor-thin GOP majority in the House of Representatives that offers Republicans barely any margin of error," Siegel and Axelrod report. "Overnight Wednesday, one of two outstanding races in California tipped toward Democrats, giving Adam Gray a roughly 182-vote lead over GOP Rep. John Duarte in the inland 13th Congressional District in the San Joaquin Valley. In California's 45th Congressional District, anchored in Orange and Los Angeles Counties, Democrat Derek Tran has a roughly 600-vote lead over Republican Rep. Michelle Steel."

The reporters add, "In Iowa, GOP Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks is up by 800 votes in Iowa's 2nd Congressional District, though a recount is unlikely to change the result in the competitive district. Miller-Meeks first won her seat in 2020 by six votes. If these results hold, the House will start with a 220-215 GOP majority — even thinner than the current Congress' margin."

But Siegel and Axelrod point out that the number of House Republicans will "drop to 219 with former Rep. Matt Gaetz's resignation" and "could fall further to 217 depending on the timing of the resignations of Reps. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., and Mike Waltz, R-Fla., who are set to join the Trump Administration as U.S. ambassador to United Nations and national security adviser, respectively."

Johnson, according to the ABC News reporters, "has pleaded with Trump to avoid taking any more House members for his administration."

There is one seat still up for grabs. The closest the demonrats can get is 5 seats.
You mean the most the Republicans can get is a 5 seat majority. But that will not happen until they win 2 (or 3) special elections.

What's wrong with a 5 seat majority?

What's wrong with a 5 seat majority?
It means that Republicans must all agree on every bill for it to pass or they need Democrat support. That has not happened recently. They even have trouble agreeing on a Speaker.

They, and not the Democrats, get to call the shots.

But these election are at least 6 months away.
Which only leaves 18 months to midterms and this time around the Dems have the advantage in the Senate the GOP enjoyed in November.

Learn what? Eighty percent of the population would fail The Milgram Experiment.

Learn what MAGA will bring into their life. I don't know if they will learn to blame MAGA for it or not - but that's the only chance this country moves past MAGA at this point IMO. Nothing else seems to have worked.

This clearly points to a more nuanced picture than a so-called MAGA mandate.

Though the Biden administration copped the blame for inflation, it doesn't look like voters wanted to punish the Dems up and down the ticket.

I'd like to say voters need to be more informed if Dems want to win the white house again and that's often true for state and local races. But at the top of the ticket maybe they just need to be better entertained.
