Would Trump have won the election, if Stormy Daniels didn't sign.

Would Trump have won, if Stormy's story came out a week before the election?

That sounds like battered woman syndrome. "If she cares about the family, she'll keep quiet."
No.

If she would rather have a Democrat that votes 60%-70% of the Democratic agenda as opposed to 5-10%, she will shut her mouth.

I grant you that it bears a superficial resemblance. If you want to spin something out of a superficial resemblance, have at it.

Doesn't change the fact that Hilary's insults to people that she needed not to insult helped her lose the election. And doesn't change the fact that a year later she's still chucking insults at people that Democrats need to make nice with.

If she wants to keep slowing down Democrats' momentum, that's her right, but I would prefer that she stop insulting people in Wisconsin, for example -- a state she couldn't be bothered to visit after the primaries -- because she. is. not. helping.

If the Stormy Daniels story would have surfaced a week-and-a-half before the election, would Trump have won?

Yes. He lost the election by 2.9 million votes, and yet he had the electoral college wrapped up. The ardent sycophants that support him to this day would not have cared just as they do not today.

It's telling a woman with something to say to shut up for the good of others. She doesn't get to talk because only others matter. Back seat for her, with all the other women causing problems.

Utter nonsense.

Republicans told Romney and McCain to step back after they lost...and they didn't say anything anywhere near as outlandish as Clinton did.

Had Clinton not insulted Democrats and Republicans alike in "the heartland," this would have been a normal conversation about how political parties almost always want the loser to take a good long walk alone.

Why?

Why should she?

She is a woman who has been part of the of the Political fabric of the country for 40 years, has represented the United States to leaders around the globe and raised a family..

She did not raise a family. Nannies, and private schools, raised her daughter.

Maybe you'll silence her. Good work.

I need to point out I cannot stomach hearing the woman speak, and detest her brand of politics, but NO she should NOT sit down and shut up. "Evil flourishes when the good do nothing" and we are seeing evil flourish in abundance.

America cannot even protect its own children from home grown terrorists, instead worries and whines about non-existent hordes of brown people on the Mexican border...now is not the time to trash the first amendment. Now is the time to start listening to reason.

Insulting the people in the states that didn't vote for her isn't going to do a darn thing to stop evil from flourishing.

Insulting women who didn't vote for her isn't going to do a darn thin to stop evil from flourishing.

If she is "the good", then she needs to up her game.

Now may not be the time to trash the first amendment. But neither is it the time to trash people the Democrats need on their side in order to stop Trump.

Trump is ****ing up so badly that he could get a lot of demoralized Republicans to sit home during the upcoming midterm. So he thanks Hillary every time she comes out with more stupidity because she keeps reminding people why they voted for Trump instead of her. She'll inspire those demoralized Republicans to get out to the polls.

Sexual assault. Republicans voted for a guy who bragged about committing sexual assault and sleeping with other people's wives. You can't overstate the fact that voting for Trump was almost exclusively a middle finger to liberals for having to "endure" eight years of Obama.

Except that in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, those that pushed Trump over-the-top were Democrats who bought the used car salesmen's lies that he was a populist that was going to raise taxes on the rich and get back jobs lost overseas. Now, as president, we experience the same Republican "solutions" that have failed in the past -- tax-cuts on the rich and slashing regulatory protections on corporations -- none of which have created any more jobs than under Obama. Telling workers that he was going to raise taxes on the rich was merely another lie in a glacier of lies. He ended up celebrating the tax-bill's passage at bribe central Mar-a-Lago with those rich friends.

I hope we do. As a (albeit, reluctant) Clinton voter, I have to tell you, liberals need to be saved from themselves if they want any hope of maintaining some presence in these states or to avoid further electoral college problems in the future.

now, why is your undies in a knot about a trivial piece of bullsit about a retired politician?

I suppose you were there o course, its how you all knw what she' thinking too

Could it be addiction to hate?

What Spanky and his gang take as important is humorous, but ALWAYS a reminder of the blessing that I don't live there

Silencing women. The real first profession.

Whatever.

If she has something good to say, then fine. But she's saying stupid stuff. Really stupid stuff. The kind of stupid stuff which led to her losing the election to Donald Trump.

If you really want to hear more of that, then enjoy four more years of President Trump.

Oh, I see. A woman needs to shut up because of Trump.

This is ridiculous, Eco. I'm worried about my Senator, a woman herself, getting thrown out of office in a Trump state, because of the persistent and very real problem of liberals looking down on rural areas. She won her election by the skin of her teeth, some 3 thousand votes. And it''s going to be tough.

I'm sure if you can silence a woman, everything will work out.

I don't think there is a single person who voted for Trump that it would have mattered to. He was publicly accused of rape and sexual assault over 20 times. If his supporters are ok with rape and sexual assault then a little thing like adultery is not going to matter to them.

Do you think Trump's children, from three different women, weren't raised by nannies and private schools? If so, you must be a Trump University graduate.

Being overly reductionist does a disservice to your intelligence.

You can make whatever excuse you want for silencing a woman. Blame everything on her, that's the usual rationalization.

To an extent, you are right. This is tribal behavior -- or more precisely, cult behavior. Whatever Jim Jones did or Charles Manson did, was right, correct and faithful defended by their supporters.

There were, however, a large number of voters that believed the lies promulgated by Russia on behalf of Trump. To them, Stormy Daniels may have been the feather that broke the camel's back.

Eco, I like you, but if you can't engage in the substance of Clinton's offensive remarks, this is a pointless conversation.
