According to Barbara Streisand all women should think with one collective thought and not have differing opinions. Anyone who thinks differently than the collective must have been brainwashed by their husbands or be subservient to the them. Only one thought process is allowed.

I know you find English challenging, but Babs said "a lot of women", not "anyone". Those mean different things.
You're welcome. I try to help where I can.

“Obviously, some women cast their ballots for Trump in the presidential election, but why would they vote for a man who doesn’t let them control their own bodies? It’s a terribly complex thing,” she said. “A lot of women vote the way their husbands vote; they don’t believe enough in their own thoughts. Maybe that woman who’s so articulate, so experienced and so fit for the presidency,” referring of course to Hillary Clinton, “was too intimidating. … Perhaps she made women feel unsuccessful.” Streisand said that these realizations were “so devastating to me and I was heartbroken.”

In other words anyone that voted for Trump and not Hillary don't have their own thoughts because they vote the way their husbands vote and they were intimidated by Hillary.
In other words... "Anyone who thinks differently than the collective must have been brainwashed by their husbands or be subservient to the them. Only one thought process is allowed." sounds about right to me.
And apparently to others also since even leftists are speaking out against her on this one.
I missed the part where she said women aren't allowed to think differently and we should think with one collective thought. Can you point out where she said that?
You womens with your one tract minds. Ugghh. You ladies need to understand that I am more than just some piece of meat with a giant penis. I want some respect.

So what you are saying is actual words do not matter, you will make up whatever you want to push people into believing. I see...
See what I did there?
She literally said that the only reason women voted for Trump is because men control their thought processes. If they had thought on their own then they surely wouldn't have voted for Trump. That is saying that women are not allowed to think differently and if they do then its not really their fault, its their husbands fault for controlling the woman's thoughts. That they must think like she thinks they should think. If you don't get that then I don't know what to tell ya.
That is not what she said or suggested, Moderate Right. She wasn't saying women needed to agree with her or her politics as one uniform corporate body. She said:
She is stating why so many women voted for Donald Trump. Here is the problem: How on Earth does she know this? Has she ever sat down and spoken to another woman who voted for Donald Trump? Or anyone who has voted for Donald Trump, for that matter? Barring such conversations, I did not realize that sometime in the last couple of years, Ms. Streisand became able to perform telepathy.
I missed the part where she literally said that. Can you post it?
I saw her say that many women do that. I didn't see any words from her that match what you or the OP claimed.
I find it hilarious that you and those like you read all kinds of things into what Trump says or doesn't say and assume many things with him, yet when it comes to another Trump hater you're so literal that its both pathetic and hilarious at the same time. Double Standard noted.
I don't know if it's because "they're controlled by their husbands" or that they were "intimidated" by Hillary as much as everything has become a complete hyperpartisan **** fest that everyone votes for the party they associate with without thinking anything through. It's hard to see why women would support Trump given his words and actions, but it's easy if you consider that many people cannot see past the R or D and don't really consider politicians words or actions.

Probably the same way so many alt-righters know that black people vote as they do. Because we hear constantly about how blacks are prisoners of the Dems and have to vote for them. Or maybe she knows as much as the Trump fans who claim that all immigrants vote for Democrats.
So you think Ms. Streisand is intentionally misrepresenting data to maintain a particular ideological narrative in the same way that white nationalists intentionally misrepresent the data to pursue and maintain their ideological narrative? If so, fair enough. I am just wondering where she obtained the data in the first place. I mean, if there was at least some opinion polling showing that some women were indeed browbeaten by their husbands or significant others, or felt intimidated by Hillary Clinton that would certainly be something to go off of.
