California is emerging as the de facto policy think tank (insert oxymoron joke here) the Biden-Harris administration and of a Congress soon to be under Democratic control. That’s rekindling past cliches about the state — incubator of innovation, premier laboratory of democracy, land of big ideas — even as it struggles with surging COVID-19 infections, a safety net frayed by the pandemic’s toll, crushing housing costs and wildfires, all fueling an exodus of residents.

Whoever is in charge of the Biden's messaging should be taken out and shot.

If you plan on coming here, bring your wallet. And be careful of where you park due to the "catalytic converter tax". That is the replacement you will pay once or twice a year if you cant park indoors. Kitty converter theft is a huge and rampant cottage industry pretty much ignored by the police And the "see no evil" recycle racket.
Petty crime is under $950, and misdemeanors are ignored and last year voters voted to retain this level. If a person smashes your car window to steal something. Leave a message and they will call you with a case number in case you want to call your insurance company.
Riding around streets at night with tools and dark clothing is a constitutional right, as is the "right to exist"pretty much anywhere you can set up a tent.
 
California is the perfect template of what NOT TO DO.
 
Imagine if every state was as glamorous as
California.

Pelosi, Nadler, Schiff, & Newsom are doing wonders for California.

The fewer of you who want to move here the better the state will be. And housing prices will go down.
