Will the US have a population explosion?

Some are, that's a mixed bag. Some women are better than some men too.

What I meant is it would put men and women on an equal footing when it comes to reproductive rights and the laws would reflect that.

Women are whining about their freedoms tonight but a great deal of them are unsympathetic to the majority of men who get ****ed over in the family courts.
This is boring.

With respect:

Whatever. You believe in punishing women for some stupid reason. You're an honorary Christofascist.
I believe treating men and women equally. Interesting isn't it that you view treating a woman in the same manner as the law treats men as a punishment. The fact that it offends your misogynistic perspective does not concern me.

With respect:

Men are generally worse than women, by far.

As for your "whining" comment: Forum rules inhibit me from saying what should be said in response to that bull:poop:.
There it is right in black and white. You do not believe men are worthy of the same dignity that women are entitled to. Right there in a nutshell is why I have no sympathy for women losing some of their rights.

Yep. Many more poor men will not get out out of child support when they knock up a poor woman who can’t cross state lines for an abortion.

A recent study proved that only 19 percent of men in United States who do not want to become a father use a condom consistently to prevent impregnating a girl/ women.

Actually , 92 percent of women in the United States are being responsible for their fertility by using Birth control consistently.
( unless they are currently pregnant or are actively trying to become pregnant.)

Info from :

https://www.self.com/story/report-two-thirds-women-use-birth-control

From the article :

Oh, and as for 35.1 percent of women who aren’t using contraception?

They’re not all just having unsafe sex.

About half of them (17 percent of the respondents) hadn’t had sex in the past three months while the rest were either pregnant, postpartum or trying to conceive (7.5 percent),
or, indeed, sexually active but not using protection (7.9 percent).

With RvW overturned, you would think we would see a surge in births.

I don't think so. I have always contended that in the event of RvW being overturned - there would be minimal increase if any.

My thought is that women (contrary to wacky comments) do not get abortions for trivial reasons. Pregnancy alone could send the working poor into a deeper economic tailspin . Most women who have abortion already have children they are struggling to care for.

Desperate people do desperate things.

I also think that abortion pills will have a distinct underground market in areas where legal abortion is not accessible. Hell, abortions may even be more widely available (nearly every town has a pusher, most towns do not hava an abortion clinic)

Thoughts?

Will the US have a population explosion?

Not if you don't leave your borders wide open!

I don't like the way you treat anyone, regardless of gender.

Men who do want to pay child support should not have sex.
That has been established law for a long time. The law has been slow to catching up to women but it took a step towards it on Friday

?

No, what's likely to happen is a lot more sexually frustrated men.
I think this is a very likely outcome. For better or worse, decisions of when to begin having sex during dating is going to change.

This might also lead to an increase in sexual assaults if access to sex becomes less easy as well.

It surely will, but then again, that's right in Brett Kavanaugh's wheelhouse, ain't it?

It's in range of 800,000 to a million abortions a year if all those pregnancies go to term.
About a third or more would not go to term, and then some percentage of the women would also die. Also, at least half of those would still simply happen because not all states have outlawed abortions.

Also, people need to understand that there are many women who have children later in life, maybe more than one, because they were able to have an abortion early, when they were not ready to have a child.

Child support starts at birth. Should it now start at fertilization?

What's the problem with telling women what we tell men?
What do you think we tell men? What law requires a man to continue a pregnancy that puts him at risk, risks his livelihood from the moment of conception that doesn't apply to women?

Men lose their choice at conception.
No, they don't. They lose it at birth. A birth has to happen for them to lose any "choice" when it comes to parenthood. However, they can petition to give up all parental rights to a child. Or they can simply not give their real name or info to the woman/women they have sex with. There is no national DNA database that can be used to determine the father of a child. The woman has to have info about the father to get child support, and that starts at birth if she knows and shares.

Absolutely... Currently, TAXPAYERS pay for medicaid for the lower income women who are pregnant... Why should taxpayers carry this cost without the father contributing?

Why should fathers be responsible for children who were born without their consent
