I say no for the same reason that Manafort has held his tongue. If the SDNY had a solid case, what does Epstein have to gain? At 66 yo, what does a few years shaved mean? Epstein has more to fear from talking than from “taking one or more for the team,” imo.

What we do not have is hard evidence. Evidence that can be taken to trial

Hard to imagine anyone pardoning a child rapist. But if anyone would, it would be the Flim Flam man. Although Trump can't parson state crimes I don't believe.
 
Probably not, it would mean admitting guilt to a laundry list of really shady and horrendous **** seemingly involving people across the political spectrum and various powerful businesses.
 
Epstein has been walking around on borrowed time for a decade or so.
 
What I predict is that nobody will be implicated criminally, but that the people he's associated with will look really, really awful. I predict that one of these people will be Trump, and that he'll survive because scandal has been attached to him his whole life and he's just used to it. And if there's one thing Trump has demonstrated, it's that you can get about as far as you like by having no shame and always having somebody nearby to throw under a bus as needed. Also, populism raised him to power so he's immune to scandal in that regard.

One of the people who will also look awful may well indeed be Bill Clinton, and that will basically kill future book deals and speaking engagements.

I hope he does, and has proof and every single person involved is convicted. I don't get how people are polarizing this like this crap here.

No. Not unless the SDNY wants to admit that Epstein isn't the top of the food chain in his sex ring. See, it's commonplace for a State's Attorney's office to offer a plea deal to a member of a criminal organization, in order to eventually indict the higher ranking members. I'm sure you're aware of this practice as it relates to the mafia, for example. What would the SDNY have to gain by exposing Epstein's clients? They would only be asking for trouble, possibly with retribution attached by men with billions of dollars, and connections to former Presidents, Prime Ministers, and the British Royal Family.

There are 4-5 co-conspirators from the original Florida case who may flip on Epstein if they're indicted in NY, but I don't believe this will ever go to trial.

Actually, FBI found a stack of photos in Epstein's safe, which may be a part of Epstein's trove of blackmail material. If so, I wonder how they'll keep this quiet.

Interesting question. He's going to have to have some powerful stuff the ameliorate the foulness of what the government has on him. Just the stuff they found in his safe at home could cause him life. Gov't has flight logs, witnesses, photos. His ass is grass.
