On the one hand, Donald claims to have invented the holiday, declaring that nobody on the planet had even heard of it before he brought it up.

On the other hand, he’s been quite clear that DEI purge = purge all references to black people, including delisting any public accomplishments of black veterans, pushing companies like Google to remove Black History Month from their calendars, etc. So, we know that he would prefer that the black people be kept at arm’s length from him and his children.

So, what will he do?

No idea how Trump will respond but one thing is for sure, watch for it on debate forums, a lot of put downs of DEI, Wokism, whites being the real victims of racism and whatabout all those LA riots?

Anyone want to guess if it will be Trump supporters or non-supporters who will be making those kinds of comments?

Hopefully he'll say nothing but I suspect there will be something about who he's been the best thing for black people since Lincoln or maybe ever. Oh, and a chance to remind everyone he gave HBCUs more money than anyone. I hope it's the former.

He might mention the day that Republicans freed slaves from Democrats but I am hoping he ignores it all together. Nothing so far that I have seen.
We had a great celebration of the Army's 250 on Saturday.

He might name a military base after a Confederate general, but that will be a coincidence.
