I don’t think he will resign but he is a super spreader looking for another super spreader
 
He is trying to run out the clock so a contender cannot have enough time to raise the money to run, but i think this may have upended that tactic. We will see.
 
YUP, if the Dems' mouthpiece New York Times orders him to.
 
If he resigns then that would likely be seen as an admission of guilt. That virtually guarantees success for the many civil lawsuits sure to follow.

Forcing the NY legislature to impeach him allows Cuomo some measure of due process and forces his accusers to testify in public and to become subject to cross examination - likely thinning the herd of those apt to sue him.

he should but i doubt he will, my mind might change after seeing more coverage though, i only saw a little bit yesterday and this morning. Didn't really see his statements and that will better give me an idea.

Not defending it but from a legal standpoint, he may not resign to give him a buffer and to keep an appearance of innoncence.

Looks like he is toast though and like i said yesterday in the 2 threads about this. If theres evidence and he is guilty so long sucker! Throw the book at him!
While all behavior like they describe may have happened is bad IMO i think its even worse when it comes from a person in so much power and is supposed to be a trusted individual.

The difference is, it’s obvious Trump isn’t guilty and his “accusers” are all lying.

I mean I think it’s possible Cuomo’s are too. The democrats really don’t want him there because he is the living evidence for why Ron De Santis is a better governor, and they need a reason to get rid of him so they invented this whole sex angle to get rid of him
 
The obvious is both Trump and Cuomo are guilty.
 
It's nice Trump is gone and won't be back, and Cuomo will soon be in the same boat with him.
 
If Cuomo can pay anyone off with a gag order then its not illegal. it turns into a scam at some point.
 
Yep

Members of his own party want him out. He's toast. He might as well end his political career with some dignity.

Your second option is ambiguous. It implies that he will successfully ride it out whereas I would vote that he will try to ride it out.

The way I've been putting it is he'll try to Trump/Northram his way out of this. Historically speaking (if we're just using the last five years as our history), then it would be a smart and successful strategy.
 
I think it depends on factors were are not likely to see publicly. It depends on how much Biden and Pelosi really want them out. He served his purpose as the anti-Trump, but he's a liability in upcoming elections if he gets cited for killing everyone's grandparents and being the Godfather of the Democratic party in 2020.

Biden can privately threaten a DoJ investigation and Pelosi can threaten a House committee on him in regards to sexual assault and/or his covid response. If that happens he'll have to resign to save face. But, his ego is probably too big to resign on his own with people just complaining if he thinks he has a shot at beating impeachment.

He knows he's guilty of what he is being accused of and knew what the likely result of what the investigation was going to be. He's been planning for an impeachment and his public response for a while now.
