In the months following the 2016 election, it has been determined that many of the claims made by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele [who composed the now discredited "Steele dossier"] were either unverified or erroneous. The Steele dossier was instrumental in creating the dubious narrative that Trump and his campaign were illegally colluding to defeat Hillary Clinton. The Steele dossier falsely alleged that Trump “accepted a regular flow of intelligence from the Kremlin, including on his Democratic and other political rivals.” There is no credible evidence that claim

Steele hired a Russian named Igor Danchenko to help him create the phony dossier used by the Clintons, Democrats, and the fake news media to smear Trump and then as "evidence" to deceive the FISA court to spy on the Trump campaign illegally. Peddling the hoax of Russian election interference to undermine Trump’s campaign with the phony Steele dossier, which was funded by the Clinton campaign through its law firm Perkins Coie seems to have violated several laws and was undoubtedly immoral.

So Perkins Coie employed a Clinton campaign lawyer and former federal prosecutor Michael Sussmann, who Durham recently charged for allegedly making a false statement to the FBI. Why? Sussman lied to the FBI concerning the Trump Organization’s use of a secret server to communicate with Kremlin-connected Russian bank Alfa Bank. Making false claims to the FBI is illegal and very unethical. Sussman should be disbarred and now it appears he will be prosecuted.

My take is that the arrest of Russian analyst Igor Danchenko (who was indicted by Durham the special counsel). Durham's investigation into the now discredited Russian collusion investigation is progressing. The malfeasance, according to anonymous individuals with direct knowledge of the matter according to the left leaning NY Times, was serious breach of the law so it is likely Danchenko's indictment and arrest is a prelude to a plea deal if he testifies honestly about his role in the creation of the phony Steele dossier and the role of the Democrat conspirators involved in creating this false narrative.

It seems that it is very hard to differentiate between reality and fantasy for many who identify themselves as being on the progressive left. Progressive left zealots appear to have the same brainwashed mindset as the deluded followers of religious cults, healing cults, quacks, and put their trust or faith in con artists like Bernie Madoff. They not hard to expose as zealots because they know they cannot explain why they believe what their dubious ideas. Those who dare question their vision of some utopian reality are quickly seen as the enemy.
