After a spit polish bullshit and boredom at Offutt, SAC HQ, I began to volunteer for everything that came down the pike. I assume due to our security clearance and SAC training the AF waved all kinds of "opportunities" our way. When Operation Safe Side came down I volunteered for the ranger training at Scofield Barracks. I was denied because I didn't have enough time in grade. Eventually I volunteered for Vietnam. At that time they told us the policy was they would hold a volunteer request for Vietnam for 60 days so you could change your mind. lol In a little over 30 days I was on my way to combat school. I was no longer bored.

In Vietnam I continued to volunteer for whatever. Learning conversational Vietnamese eventually opened doors. At times I worked outside the wire. It was an adventure to say the least. I have few regrets. I asked for it.

You said the GOP created the issue for political benefit. The issue was current during two Democrat presidents terms and one Republican. Trump is the one who told the DOJ to release them and not the DEMOCRATS. It’s pretty obvious that whatever is in the files will determine whether or not it’s a Democrat or Republican issue. But it’s also obvious that the Democrats had no plan to release them. Why is that?

My feeling is the vast majority of those demanding to see "the files" want to see how much the GOP will be damaged by the data especially since the mid-terms next year are critical for the Democrats' success at the polls.
The foremost goal of course is to hurt Trump, the duly elected president of this country.
To me, it is all about political fortunes for next year and very little to do with "protecting the innocent" whoever they are.

Who are you blaming for being just like Biden - knowing he can't win but hanging in there hoping there was a chance Trump could lose and Biden could luxuriate in another four years in the White House?

What evidence do you have the Trump is declining?
Do you have some psychologist or physiologist in your pocket who would attest to Trump's failing physicality or mental acuity?

How do you know what reality is if you don't have any hard facts about who was on the island; who did what to whom; and whether there will ever be any testimony to indict anyone who traveled with Epstein?

In a way, I envy your adventures in Nam. You came out alive. And like Nelson DeMille the great writer, he had a solid foundation to write interesting books about his protagonists in Vietnam. My adventures in Thailand were minor, mainly about some of the bars in Bangkok. Never got shot at or kidnapped. Never brought anything back to the states that required medical attention.


I would rather remain ignorant of all of the speculation about Epstein and his sordid island until hard evidence comes out as to who did what to whom and whether such activities were criminal or not. Until then, you can stop doing research for me.
