So, I'll admit Catholism is all you, you must be a Catholic or something, but when you are ready to venture into the waters of the Christian bible, step up, the doors always open.
What the hell is this suppose to mean? You think Catholics are not Christians. We were Christians long before protestant bible thumping immoralist like Pat bin-Robertson or Jerry Falwell and your kind ever came along. Christian bible- WTF is that supposed to mean? I guess you are in Taiwan conquering the world with the bible and anti-Catholic hatered. So much for your love of your fellow man. Can you spell hypocrite. just look in the mirror it's tattooed in your forehead.

You are no more aware of weather I am pro choice or what. If you don't understand what you wrote then you are in deep psychological trouble. If you do then you are blindly bigoted. Either way you are waaaaay out of line this time. Besides your post has nothing to do with what I wrote about . It is just religiously bigoted hot air. You can't win any other way so you resort to this stuoid tactic. Bigots of that ilk make me sick.

Besides, in the US, the top foreign language to study is Spanish because it is far more useful for most people (except in the part of the US where I am from where French IS more useful.)

Trajan Octavian Titus said:Ya right the majority of your immigrant population from Northern Africa wants a country within a country that's why they take to the streets and riot, they don't want equality they want separation..
Trajan Octavian Titus said:A) Last time I checked the Phillipines are a soveriegn nation onto themselves and not a part of the United States...
Trajan Octavian Titus said:B) It's just as easy for a person from South Central LA to make it as anyone else, in fact with affirmative action it's easier just so long as he works hard and keeps his nose clean..
Trajan Octavian Titus said:C) A caring society? What a freaking joke is that why the French had thousands of senior citizens recently die of heat exhaustion because their own families don't even take care of their own? Only in a society as sick as yours could you possibly consider yourselves a caring society. Social mobility rates in Europe are far far less in Europe than in the U.S., how many new million aires do you produce a year? You may be able to scrape by but you aren't going to hit it big and with a 50% taxation rate it's no wonder why.

You've polled them have you? Or did that come from Fox News?
What will they call this separatist state. "Northern Africa"?
Are you even aware of the diversity and differences between the Kabyles, Berbers and numerous other north Africans that live here, not to mention the north African Jews and Christians amongst them. Your ridiculous claim is part of the paranoid "the moslems are out to take over" myth.
You've never even actually been to France have you?
Which makes their citizens on US territory immigrants. And they're all in top government posts and on business boards aren't they?

That's not even worth a response
Lessons were learned from that tragic summer where we had unusally persistant high temperatures which resulted in many elderly people dying. I work in health care, and I can tell you that it's thanks to our high taxes that the money's been there to put extra resources in place to prevent this happening again.
And if Katrina 2 strikes tomorrow???
Trajan Octavian Titus said:Ya that explains the mass rioting right, wantant destruction, and needless violence? How is it that our immigrant population can have protests of 500,000 strong with no incidents of violence yet yours burns down buildings and blows sh!t up?
.
Trajan Octavian Titus said:It's not U.S. territory so what are you talking about?
.
Trajan Octavian Titus said:African Americans have every opportunity in the world, it's what they choose to do with that opportunity that is the question..
Trajan Octavian Titus said:So rather than the families actually taking care of their own elderly you instead have the government do it, is that a good thing in your book?
Katrina was a flash flood not a pro-longed heat wave in which your own families didn't even bother to check up on their parents and grandparents.
millsy said:I live in Finland right now, so I believe I have a decent understanding of the anti-American sentiment that exists in Europe right now. I really see it as not an ant-American, but rather anti George W. Bush, anti war in Iraq feeling. People here are fascinated by life in America and want to know about it, and want to travel there. I get the feeling that the people here are not full of hate, but rather are worried about where America is going.
What is really interesting is that I have a friend here who is from New Jersey who is a conservative republican, who does a lot of grassroot work for the republican party and stands very firmly behind President Bush. He sees it a little differently than I do (I am very liberal.........yes we have good fights). He sees the current Republican administration as a great representation of what is "a real American" and that disapproval of the administration is disapproval of America.
I of course disagree with that, and do not think that President Bush represents "real Americans" and neither do most of the people who have talked to me about why they "don't like" America.
Of course all of this is just an anecdote, so take it for what you will.
Urethra Franklin said:You don't need immigrants to do it. Your own population did a good enough job after Rodney King
You didn't know the Northern Mariana Islands were a US territory, full of sweatshops employing Filipinas for peanuts (most of them thinking they were headed for a bright future on he US mainland). But how would you know? It's not in your state.
You talk out of your backside. We had night temperatures that didn't fall below 35°C. We're not used to that in France. Many old people who live alone who were looked in on at night and given a drink were sadly found dead in the morning. Staff shortages in certain institiutions have been addressed. Mistakes were made. Thanks to our open society they've been brought into the open, and thanks to our taxes, the public money's there to address it.
Katrina was predicted and swift action wasn't taken. What it's aftermath revealed were horrific levels of poverty that due to social security, we don't have here. For the world's richest economy, it's inexcusable, and frankly proves that capitalism doesn't work.
Now answer the question. You've never actually been to France have you?

No I'm judging a country based on the empirical evidence that your economy is in the tank, your employees don't want to work, and your immigrant population is disenfranchised.
You're drunk
No actually I was sober when I wrote that. You'll know when I'm drunk.
