"For over twelve years, I worked inside the Republican ecosystem, helping the party advance its goals in several fields, ranging from grassroots voter outreach to digital fundraising. I worked inside GOP circles through Trump’s takeover of the party, his initial downfall, and his resurgence in 2023–2024. At every step along the way, I rationalized, compartmentalized, and found excuses to stay tethered to the party, even as I grew to believe it was undermining the foundations of our constitutional republic. But over the last few months, the compartmentalization and coping stopped working to silence my conscience.

And now, after more than a decade, I have decided I have finally had enough.

I quit. I quit the Republican party and my job as an accomplice to the party in the throes of an authoritarian cult. Today, I resigned from my career as a senior fundraising strategist for one of the leading Republican digital fundraising firms in Washington, D.C."

What we really need is a pro-civil libertarian middle third party. I am an unapologetic economic leftist, but I would be willing to put aside my economic concerns in the short-term and caucus with a party that committed itself less to the expansion of foreign hegemony and more on domestic production, and above all else, and end to our pathetic national security state, which, as we've seen, can easily be weaponized against American citizens when in the wrong hands, which it clearly is in now.

Keep in mind that not all neocons have left the GOP.

Communist Party of USA, Democrat Socialist of America, Freedom Socialist Party, Young Communist League of NY, ACLU, Indivisible, Socialist Equality Party, Party for Socialism and Liberation, Socialist Worker publication, Move On, various border collialitions and progressive networks, 50501,American Federation of Teachers. The Open Society Foundation (funded by George Soros).
I'd also like to point out: We have no king. Our constitution prevents it. If we had a King, there would have been no rally, the King would have prevented it. IN this case President Trump, who the No Kings supporters claim is a King, would have simply forbidden it, called in the troops and law enforcement to stop it, and would have closed all the national parks along with the National Mall in DC so there could be no rally. I also remind you that President Barack Obama closed the national parks and the Mall in DC during the Government Shutdown 2013, during his Presidency so there could be no protests.
As usual the left has a complete different standard for themselves.

What we really need is a pro-civil libertarian middle third party.

And what that needs is generational level work to make it a reality.
The Greens, like them or not, had to spend twenty years knocking on doors, finding qualified candidates at every level.
You can't just push a "Jill Stein" at the White House and post an 800 number and a PO Box and expect everything else to just happen.
(I mean the collective "you", not you personally.)

Third parties are impossible in America only because people expect it to work like dropping a bullion cube into fifty gallons of boiling water and suddenly you have soup for an army.
