More treatment options have become widely available in the past month or two, there really isn't a need to risk HCQ anymore, whether it's 75% safe, or 25% safe.

My post in the OP pertained to months ago, when the options were HCQ or nothing.

Nope, as I posted, Remdesivir was available early on and I mentioned it in those early threads. And he's on Remdesivir, among other things.

But it seems, not HCQ.

Again, none of this is relevant now, we now have safer options.

But you said it was very safe before.

The deal is..multiple studies have shown it to be ineffective, if not associated with worse outcomes.

Studies that have shown theopposite are generally kind of sketchy.

Nearly all studies have indicated that HCQ is safe, with no dangerous side effects.

Why do liberals believe half of the studies, and question the other half?

I have no idea what that is. I'll go with whatever the medical consensus says.

And NEJM, the most prestigious medical journal on the planet, has just published the obituary for HCQ.

The RECOVERY trial is finally published (a UK study) and showed no benefit of HCQ in its primary endpoint. Impressively, it didnt show benefit ANYWHERE - not in any subgroup at all.

Pretty close to showing that it led to a 10% INCREASE in mortality overall.

Utter garbage.
