Why do lefties chew gum?

I have never really understood the gum chewing thing and adults. I completely understand when I see kids chew with their mouths open, or when they chew gum, but I just don't get how this gets carried onto adult life. I have noticed that when I see adults chewing gum, there are enough clues that tell me that the person is obviously a lefty. Why do lefties chew gum as adults?
 
Why do righties drink vodka?
 

 

Why do rightie's chew Beechnut or dip Scoal?

These are the questions that keep me awake at night. LOL!

I guess I did not anticipate that this was such a sensitive question that lefties would have to pivot and dodge. Interesting. It is not like I was asking why my paycheck should be redistributed, geez....

Maybe if you'd bothered to look for any evidence to support this "theory," people would be discussing it more seriously.

Well, in the first place, I don't see why chewing gum makes one a lefty or a righty to begin with.

In the second place, I only replied to this dumb ass assumption because it came from EvMetro. I like talking to EvMetro. He's cool. I know he's just having some fun. He "gets" it.

Third place, my answer (going on the assumption that lefty's chew gum :roll: ) it must be for the same reason righty's chew tobacco.

Fourth place...... never mind there is no fourth place.

We grab them because they are great, and because of our innate mating instincts. It probably appears as if we just grab them without permission, but alpha males actually establish a special connection where we have the green light to grab it, via our chemistry and innate mating instincts. Lefties should never imitate an alpha male though, since it could lead to groping or harassment charges. Lefties should get written consent before touching anything.

I think that this may call for its own thread. I am just amazed at how lefties pivot and dodge on something as simple as this. I am more curious now about why they can't directly answer a question than I was with the gum chewing thing.
 
A while back I thought I read the dumbest thread at DP. I stand corrected.
 

You pretty much have me figured out, I was indeed having fun. I was not aware that righties were into chewing tobacco, so I will have to ponder this.
 
I spend a lot of time working out in the gym, and I see a lot of the gum chewers there. I wondered if it might be an athletic thing, but the righties there do not chew gum. Only the lefties. I wore Trump T shirts there through the entire election cycle, so those of us who frequent the gym where I work out are aware that I am a righty. Many others began wearing Trump T shirts after seeing me wear mine all the time, and the regular crowd is all aware of who is who politically. I see the lefties come walking in chewing gum with their mouths open, and the righties never have gum. In this gym environment, gum is a lefty thing.
 

The answer is blatantly obvious.

Conservatives chew gum and become reduced to a little pile of blabbering mush, since Conservatives cant think and chew gum at the same time.
 

Frankly, I'm surprised that there were any righty's at a gym. All the righty's I know are big fatties and think exercise is a liberal conspiracy.
