Israel is percieved by many as a valuable asset in the Middle East so not only do we sell them weaponry and give them money but we also protect them from the possibility of UN sanctions which are proposed due to the widespread humanitarian crimes committed by the IDF (which are noted in numerous State Department reports). We even protected them from ourselves after the U.S.S. Liberty was deliberatley, savagely, and relentlessly attacked by the IDF for 2 hours during the Six Day War and the government tried to cover up the deliberate and savage part. The bottom line is that Israel was and is an ally of convienience.

They weren't our enemies 60 years ago. We made them our enemies.

In 1949 there was an arms embargo to the Middle East countries. The Western countries did not pick a side 60 years ago. Especially America and Britain were more interested in good relationships with Arabian countries. I have no knowledge about them supplying weapons to Israel.

There was Czechoslovakia and some private arm dealers who did not care about the embargo and gave weapons to Israelian troops.

However I would be interested to learn more. I'm sure there is something in what you say, in that the Jews have a dissproportionate amount of influence in the USA & so they completely skewed US foreign policy to be pro Israeli at the expense of the Arabs for the last 60 years or more.
Pretty dumb really considering it's the Arabs that have the oil.

I did. I've read a number of articles on it. The Israeli lobby is powerful and organized. Like the NRA. Yet when you say " Because western foreign policy was formulated and maintained by jews," you speak in absolutist terms. If that were absolutely the case then the amount of ecomonmic aid to Arab countries (or the Palestinians) whom, I imagine you might say, the Israeli's would claim sponsor terror against them, would be nil. It isn't.

I'm not questioning that the Israeli lobby is powerful. So are a number of other lobbies. An absolute statement of formulating foreign policy, is extreme and needs more documentation.

If you are then saying that, under Hitler's regime it was legal to kill Jews, then you are admitting that th Nazi govenment's "Final solution to the Jewish problem" was extermination. If that is true, than as bizarre as it may be, I would agree; under Hitler's regime it was legal. Immoral, yes. A war crime against humanity, internationally, yes.
