While djt has hinted at declassifying all of the documents (something he has the power to do but can't do by himself), his attorneys have made no such claim in court.

So why did he steal those documents from the government?

2 parts ego, 1 part ignorance.

I think he felt that he had to the right to it all and the ignorance to believe it was true. I mean, he might've technically been able to do so if he had actually put effort into handling it properly ahead of time.

1) Do you believe Donald Trump retained any documents that were "Presidential Records" under the Presidential Records Act?
2) Do you believe any of those documents were or were not ever classified, and/or did any of them pertain to National Security?

When Biden screws up I am first in line to criticize him. He didn't do a good job with the withdrawal from Afghanistan. It was poorly planned and executed and people died unnecessarily. Thats on Biden. As with the pandemic however we pulled out people were going to die there and people were going to die from Covid. That said those unnecessary deaths were of a different scale in Afghanistan than they were from the pandemic. Guess who was CiC when the pandemic started; thats right, the jackass was. Now I could go on and list all the ways he screwed this country but thats off topic. I consider him to be a mass murderer, which is primarily why I hate him.
