why did the election go the way it did?

was it a revolt against Wiener?

was it a revolt against Obama?

was it just a search for change?

was it something else?
 
Most likely a combination of all of them.
 
Was the jewish vote showing its displeasure at what they feel is a lack of support for israel by the obama administration
 
Kock, Hikind, & Turner did indeed try turn the Jewish vote against Weprin by lying to them about Obama.
 
I think it's probably a combination of the voters disapproving of Obama and Wiener.

Well, the lying that Weprin did about the Turner and the GOP in regards to SS and Medicare was perfectly fine thought, right?

Weprin may have exaggerated, but it was not an outright lie.

Turner indeed wants to reduce benefits for seniors.

He clearly stated those 55 and under should not be effected by any change. Therefore, no seniors would be impacted. The Weprin lied in his ad. Cut and dry.

you said that if we raise the age of eligibility for SS & Medicare, that means that folks who are 65 are no longer seniors.
