It's pretty basic. All it takes is cursory curiosity. I bet I could find an article that explains vaccines help you gain antibodies to fight off of various not that it stops you from ever getting infected.
Because they don't that's not what they're for. Again they provide your body with antibodies to fight off infection.
How do you not know this? Why would you need to fight off infection with antibodies if you could no longer get infected?
