PBS is an important source of science programming and long form investigative journalism, both sorely lacking in MSM.

PBS is ALSO the source of constant left wing nagging about the burning LGBTQIAPOC issues of transgender rights, Black century old grievances, and the plight of Palestinian terrorist supporters, among other things that are of interest to about 10% of the public. For the rest of us, it's like being force fed Brussels sprouts.

If PBS were fixated on MAGA's favorite issues, it would have probably more people interested, but I doubt that liberals would think it deserved public funding.

The majority of virologists (every single anything doesn't agree on everything.) understand you can still carry the virus even if you're vaccinated it's not that the vaccine has made your body a fortress and penetrable by the virus it means that your white blood cells have the ability to fight it off with minimal or no symptoms at all.

This is something that was understood in the 19th century again you don't need a PhD for this all you have to do is read about the smallpox vaccine.

I doubt a fishing show would carry PBS I'm pretty sure the highest rated program is sesame Street. It doesn't have 4600 episodes because people aren't that into it.

Masterpiece is the highest rated show and I will say I like that one occasionally. But antiques road show and some obscure fishing channel you watch no those are just hanging on slot fillers.

Because as I painstakingly wrote out before…. It is about probabilities.

If you are vaccinated you are less likely to become infected if you are exposed… I didn’t say you won’t… but you are less likely

If you are infected and vaccinated one tends to be less ill… here is where I don’t claim that you won’t get sick if you are infected but compared to those who are not vaccinated the illness is less severe.

Also… the vaccinated are more likely to clear the virus from their body faster than those who are not vaccinated and here is a pretty important part when it comes to epidemiology… THEY SPEND LESS TIME BEING A VECTOR.

None of this is magic.

None of this is black and white.

Seriously… this attitude that if something doesn’t work 100% it is useless is bullshit that killed a lot of people who didn’t need to die.

It is killing people now who don’t need to die.

It is making long Covid a real problem in this country.

None of that has to happen… it is a choice that we as a nation have made to feel that we are all
