That is not analogous... slavery was due to the times not due to capitalism. Racists took advantage of the times in a capitalist system. That same system abolished slavery.

A death camp is a camp with a sytematic method with the sole purpose of killing prisoners... prove the USA had a camp like this.

Sure it can... it will just be abused. Functional capitalism that benefits a middle class cannot exist without socialism. Socialism by itself without capitalism cannot exist without dictators.

Yeah, declaring victory is a pretty blatant sign that you don't have anything relevant to say.

You've been spending this entire time excusing horrendous war crimes. Clearly you are a tremendous hypocrite if you try and condemn the US while hand waving away the USSR' much worse crimes.

This is just a slightly more extended version of the Winter War thread, which you got beaten pretty badly on as well.

I didn't "ask you about the Holodomar". I responded to your random and highly hyperbolic accusation by pointing out what's actually happened in reality, of which the Holodomar was just one on a long list of Soviet crimes. I didn't ask you to try and excuse it at all.

1. Do you think there will/can be chance without there being some pain involved? I don't. IMO, as long as things roll along fairly smoothly then there will not be enough will to effect change.

2. Don't you think the GOP and Dems in Congress will actually start doing their jobs and working together to keep any of Trump's more crazy things at bay? It's not like that President is dictator.

3. Isn't it telling that people are so fearful of Trump getting in office that the office of the presidency has grown too much in power. If he doesn't get in now then it will simply be someone else that is similar or worse from either the right or left wing. It's simply a holding action as long as the two party system stays in place.

Like I said ill be voting third party unless there some solid signs that trump could win then ill vote hilary to keep him out but im not worried. To me its simply a matter of do you want your contractor (hilary) to do a the same ****ty job on your house and i still get to live in it and its still stable or the contractor (trump) to just demolishes it and im homeless. ill take option one.

I'll have to disagree on this one. Hillary seems to be much more dangerous to me as she seems to be on board with driving us into a conflict with Russia, which may drag China in as well. She seems much more war hawkish to me.
