Why would that be the only vote that matters? The popular vote says what the people the next president represents want in their paid public servant. The electoral vote says who gets to be that public servant. Both clearly matter.

The popular vote has never gotten anyone elected President.

Congress decides what the next President gets done and they don't give a rat's ass what the people want.

But why limit oneself that way? Isn't the goal to serve the country, not just to win political battles?

Trump's goal is to serve the country.

The rest of the politicians...not so much. And they don't really care about political battles, either. They are in it for the money.

You're right that the electoral college is the only thing that matters in who gets to be president, but a president that doesn't have the popular vote can't claim to have a mandate from the people to push his agenda.

Congress represented the people by opposing Trump. He's one of the few presidents to never at any point have the will of the people. Both matter, especially during his term.

He doesn't say "Make Trumpers great again". He says "Make AMERICA great again".

Congress only represents themselves, their money dispensing lobbyists and donors. As I said, they don't give a rat's ass about any "people".

That's not really the topic. The topic is your complete dismissal of what the majority of American voters want. Trump is one of the only presidents in history to not have support from a majority of voters. He's not representing America, the congressmen and women opposing Trump and his agenda however are.

Don't for one second pretend you care about what the majority of Americans want, you don't.

I reject this out of hand. Congress isn't opposing Trump because some of the American people oppose Trump. They oppose Trump because he's a danger to the Dem and Rep establishment and the globalists who line the pockets of the Congressional Elites.

Except most Americans, even most American voters have been against Trump since 2016. Opposing Trump is as American as apple pie and baseball. You can try to distract from this all you want but he never once had a mandate from the American people.

Sorry you don't think this country is great. Nor does Trump. Smart people think this is a great country.

Maybe he can buy Greenland and call it Trumpland and you can move there and serve Trump.

The "popular vote" is driven by illegal aliens in California. Take California out of the mix and Trump won the so-called popular vote in 2016.
