Actually it did...it marked the centennial of Christ's rule in heaven...
I do not see any evidence that "Christ's rule in heaven" started in 1914. I see claims that are actually rejected by 99% of Christianity..

No. It didn't. And non-christians can be in this discussion.

Can you point us to the scripture that backs up your claim? I'm pretty sure I've never seen the date "1914" in the bible.
I have read the bible twice from cover to cover and there is no mention of that date.

Two lines of evidence point to that year...Bible chronology and the events since 1914 in fulfillment of prophecy...too complicated to go into here with much detail but I'll give you the rundown...

By by early October of 607 BCE the last of Jewish sovereignty was ending and the gentiles times began....the Jewish governor, Gedaliah, who had been left in charge by the Babylonians, had been assassinated, and the remaining Jews had fled to Egypt...Jeremiah, chapters 40-43...reliable Bible chronology indicates that this took place 70 years before 537 BCE, the year in which the Jews returned from captivity; that is, it took place by early October of 607 BCE...Jer. 29:10; Dan. 9:2...

Counting 2,520 years from early October of 607 B.C.E. brings us to early October of 1914 CE...

“Seven times” = 7 X 360 = 2,520 years...Daniel 4:16

A Biblical “time,” or year = 12 X 30 days = 360....Rev. 11:2, 3; 12:6, 14

In the fulfillment of the “seven times” each day equals one year...Ezek. 4:6; Num. 14:3

Early October, 607 B.C.E., to December 31, 607 B.C.E.= 1/4 year

January 1, 606 B.C.E., to December 31, 1 B.C.E. = 606 years

January 1, 1 C.E., to December 31, 1913 = 1,913 years

January 1, 1914, to early October, 1914 = 3/4 year

Total 2,520 years...the time from 607 BCE to the year 1914 CE equals 2,520 years...

I was baptized, does that make me a Christian?

Jesus, may well be the greatest con man that ever lived. (Up until his death that is)

And ever greater since His resurrection. ;)

Or maybe not a con man at all.

But here is what Jesus Himself said (in Mark): "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

When one worships Jesus, that person worships God. I guess you missed that part, heh?
How about those Christians who do not see Jesus as God, such as the Jehovah Witnesses?

I get it. You worship two gods, in violation of the commandment I posted

I did not realize that Atheists were so ignorant about Christianity. I'll try to remember that for the future.

Jesus!
An exclamation indicating incredulity at all the noxious gas produced by asking a simple question within earshot of the chronically flatulent.
