I think people from all political ideologies can be tired of the race card being played constantly. Who's tired of Democrats calling every Republican policy racist? Who is tired of hearing that all Tea Party protesters are racist bigots? Who is tired of hearing Jesse Jackson spread his filth? Who is tired of the race card being played in the legal system? Who is tired of racism always being placed before us? Who here is just tired of racism in general? Democrat, Republican, Liberal or Conservative, who is tired of racism being so prevalent in politics and criticisms?

we should NEVER tire of pointing out racism in order to eradicate it
i am sure there are many ******s who haven't the fortitude to confront it however
I'm probably one of those "******s" you mentioned.we should NEVER tire of pointing out racism in order to eradicate it

There are far too many ******s who hide behind calling others racists simply for not being left wingers.
And there's no righties that are shouting racism at Obama and Co. for no good reason? I remember you in a thread yesterday having to point out to your fellow conservatives/libertarians that Obama wasn't playing the race card by actually addressing blacks and Latinos and women and young people.
I think Obama has demonstrated racism in the past, that instance there wasn't one IMO.
I don't think thats the same as mouth foamers calling me a racist because I think Obama shouldn't raise taxes.
And I also heard plenty of people calling blacks racist because they voted for Obama in large majorities.
I just don't know where this meme came from that only libs are using this race card. It seems that that's now the focus on Rush's radio show daily, along with Beck being sure to jam it in there too.
There's too much of it from both sides, though I think it's been exaggerated by conservatives exactly how much some lefties are using it, but never the less i wouldn't dare say that none of them are doing it.
Race is an essential part of the American experience since the very earliest days. There is not an important topic about America that does not have a racial component. It's just the way it is. We must not ignore or deny our heritage.
What I find most interesting is the resentment that so many twenty-somethings have when race comes up in discussion. They don't like people talking about it or even taking notice of it. It's as if they just don't pay attention to it, it will disappear.
I think it's a mistake; you can't wish it away. Race exists and will continue to exist and it will continue to come up in our politics and in our courts and on our borders. It'll be there in our homes, in our workplaces, in our churches, in our restaurants and supermarkets. It is a part of our identity. Get use to it.
It seems to me that how much the race card has been played lately has been overhyped. Yes, some on the left have accused their opponents of being racist, and they should be held accountable for their words. On the other hand, two things are happening on the right which I think are being overlooked. Firstly, there seems to be this push on the right that seems to essentially claim that racism is only coming from the black community nowdays, that we no longer have to worry about good ol-fasioned white-hating-black racism, when it is still an issue. Secondly, any criticism of the right is often dealt with "STOP CALLING ME RACIST", even if no one has accused them of being racist at all.
