You use the term to denote anybody who does not march in complete lockstep with you. You call Moderates Maga. You call Libertarians Maga. You call independents Maga.

There are so many of you intolerant conformists who do this that any sensible poster is driven away. In fact, there are groups of you BRAGGING about your ability to gang up and abuse those who do not march in lockstep conformity with you.
Trump devotees!

Hey, I vote Democrat, though I'm an Independent, and I was defending you a few posts ago. If you want to punish the bad guy, stick to the truth.
Huh? Youre barking up the wrong tree. Look at who I quoted. I wasnt talking to you.
Stop the hand waving.

I am not a Democrat, so stop hyperpartisan assumptions. I have never been a Democrat, and never will be a Democrat or Republican; never. It is solely the fault of both parties that we are where we are today. Cue the Democrats complaining about the both side's argument they made up to argue against any decent.

I said perhaps you should relinquish your citizenship. It just seemed that you spend a lot of time whining about somewhere you hate to live. I did not say shit about voting. You made that part up in your head.
Im whining? Please show me where. And while we're at that subject, why dont you call out the foreigners In Europe who complain about Trump when they dont even have voting rights. Your hypocrisy is obvious.

Is this the first time you noticed that anyone can quote you?

Call out foreigners in Europe? How is that relevant to anything, supposing you had a point and were not now just whining about your neighbors? I suspect they might be concerned that a wannabe political Strongman might take over the US, upsetting their safety. After all a vote for a Republican has become a vote for Authoritarianism. People in the US and abroad ****ing hate Authoritarianism.

I know this is off topic but I think it's kind of funny and this is an active thread where some might enjoy it. This is a screenshot of an X post/video I just saw in the PredictIt comments this morning. This is a banner which flew over the Miami Tayor Swift concert over the weekend. And I know it's true because I have a family member who traveled to the concert over the weekend and sent me a text saying this had just been circling around and around as the stadium was filling up on Saturday. Pretty darn clever response to Taylor's endorsement this year, IMO.

If you want to call Bill Clinton Bill, George Bush, Jr., George, Jr., Mitt Romney Mitt, Hillary Clinton Hillary, Donald Trump Donald, Joe Biden Joe, and Kamala Harris Kamala, fine. If you prefer to call them B(ill) Clinton, Bush, Jr., Romney, H(illary) Clinton, Trump, Biden, and Harris, fine, too. But be consistent.

It's true that I prefer last names, because that is how we refer to professional people that we don't know if they are serious professional people, e.g., scientists, artists, musicians, lawyers, etc.

If you insist on calling the men by their last names and the women by their first names, you are insulting the women by treating them as overly familiar relative to the men. That is what people did when guys were CEOs and women were their secretaries. That inconsistency IS undignified and it IS misogynistic. It would be misandrist of me, too, to call the guys Bill, George, Jr., Mitt, Donald, and Joe and still call the women H(illary) Clinton and Harris.

And a major reason I think so in Harris's case is that Harris kept her own last name in her political career after she married Doug Emhoff.

Queen Hillary? Princess Kamala? What degenerate aristocratic rot. No self-respecting American woman wants to be a queen or a princess, because that is all about royalty, not democratic human values.

And you bet I suffered in my lifetime because of the inconsistency. When I was young, people laughed at using "Ms." also, as if people had a right to call you Miss or Mrs. because they had a right insult your working dignity by referring to you, and everyone else, as if what mattered were whether or not you were a guy's sex toy.
Queen Latifa loves her name just fine.

I will call you anything you life in order to be polite.
But I will resist using pronouns in order to suit some 'woke' ideology that ignores genetic sexual differences between men and women.

I have worked with women in business all of my working life.
I have worked for women and I have had women as working subordinates. There are common sense rules for addressing, managing, and socializing with working women. And men had better learn those rules quickly. The "Me Too" movement is still alive and well in politics and corporate America.

You are not an independent if you only vote and promote one party.

Absolutely.
It's peculiar how some really do think this forum represents the present-day electorate.
It does show the lack of original thought and utterly slavish devotion to the elites so prevalent on the left.

Liberalism has been replaced by a particularly nasty need to force everybody to submit to their groupthink.

I think a good joke would have the recipient laughing along. I don’t really imagine Taylor Swift laughing about this when Trump keeps threatening to violently hurt or imprison people who say things he doesn’t like.

Not at all, I’m well aware that there are many who vote that lack the courage to challenge their own beliefs as well as the mental acuity to read and write. “I love the uneducated” said the manipulative would-be dictator.

You can look at my past posts and see how conservative I was. I was a full blown conspiracy theorist at one point. I believed that homosexuality should be illegal and ultimately punishable by death along with abortion. I vote for Harris because over time, my policies shifted left and thus, I vote for the most viable candidate that best reflect my current stances.

What the devil ever gave you the idea that the bolded had anything to do with "conservative" belief systems? Those sound like extremism on the level of Fascism. Of course, to the modern Left, anything they don't agree with equates to Fascism.

I am considered "conservative", but I have no issues with what two consenting adults do to and with each other, and I am not anti-abortion, as I support the right of a woman to choose explained in the original Roe v. Wade decision. However, like Trump, I want this to be decided State by State in Legislatures by act of law, not by a decision of a Court, no matter how high the Court is.

What would be funny is if it ticked her off so much she did a rally with Harris.

The point is that it’s kind of insulting to refer to women by their first names and men by their last names. That treats women differently on the basis of gender. It’s not like it’s sexual harassment or anything, it’s not the end of the world, but the pattern seems a little diminishing.

Both parties love the "uneducated" as much as they love the learned folk. So long as they vote. I wonder how the electorate's education profile will change with the conclusion of this sorry election season?

Don't lie, word salad, evade the question, and talk like a whiney little girl like KH and people will take her seriously..

As to the "crimes", you and know, I know, everyone knows, they were minimal at best and non-existent at worst. The NYC DAs (And I DON'T mean District Attorney- they aren't worthy of the title) when running for office, SWORE they were going to get Trump.

In reality all they did was help Trump gain in the polls because FREE THINKING INTELLIGENT people saw what they were doing. Even the NY Court of Appeals.

Yes, ole Don has warts. What you Dems are selectively blind to are the warts KaMAHla and Walz have.

That's fine because 70% of the board are Dems. I freely admit, I don't expect objective thinking or impartiality.
How many pornstars have you paid off? How many women have you sexually assaulted? How times have you committed business fraud? How fraudulent charities have you ran?

Get off of it. You can't even follow what I wrote and are prattling on about the uneducated. Why? Lol.

I bet most of them don't realize that liberals used to be genuinely tolerant and open-minded. 🤷‍♀️

2-17?

I knew DP skewed left, but not THAT far left!

No wonder whenever I post anything political I get swarmed by the leftist radical peanut gallery. They must be desperate for someone to debate with.

Without me and a few of the other righties here, this place would be an echo chamber snooze fest.
Um, okay. If responses bother you, I will in future refrain from answering your posts.

I am nothing if not reasonable.

Most of them here have a need to be in a big group, be popular. It's like a middle school clique. Power in numbers.
I doubt any of them could stand on their own feet like the few remaining conservatives, and Trump voters do.

When was that?

In the last 40 years, I mean?

They must be very young.

I miss the left that was all about questioning authority and doing your own thing.

Question authority today and they seize upon you like piranhas.
