Its interesting form the standpoint that its yet another workaround Congress. His indifference to the legislature is classic authoritarian stuff.

It is increasingly becoming irrelevant and its majority either doesn't seem to mind or is simply to frightened of him to chime in with an independent source.

…..except the U.S. absolutely is a hyper aggressive country that has basically never been at peace in its entire history. Calling it the “Department of Defense” doesn’t change that.

And I think the people we are helping genocide right now would have some things to say about the concept of the U.S. as a global “stabilizer” or “peacemaker”.
