Pres. Biden: "You! He sends his best." 😆😆😆
There wasn't even a moment's hesitation, Biden "returned Doocy's serve" in a nanosecond.

Oh they were there alright. Mostly it was people from the News Division, not the Opinion Operation....some looking mighty uncomfortable.....others visibly steaming.......others were like "yeah we know. But, we are the number one News Channel, we can take it."

That is what I found interesting....all three visible emotions were on display depending on who you were looking at.

Clarence Thomas and his benefactor were just raked over the coals mercilessly, well deserved but stunning in that he IS a SC Justice. Biden did not avoid the age thing. He used it. He was really on his game....started very seriously, worked into his standup routine which was really very good and finished on a serious note. That is hard to do....weaving in and out seamlessly like that ain't falling off a log.

Roy Wood was hysterical I thought.
 
Biden was on his game. Hilarious self-deprecation about age. Only one dig at Trump which is great. Leave Trump behind. He has good comic instincts. Ending with Dark Brandon and a prop was the perfect mic drop. His interspersed serious speech was well timed. Lauding the early black journalists was classy and welcomed. Naming the imprisoned Americans around the world was touching, as was his gracious recognition of Brittney Griner. It's nice to have a president that is capable of these things.

Completely agree with all you said. I just watched what they showed on MSNBC, President Biden was great and entertaining, the comic was pretty good too, was not familiar to me. The Dark Brandon bit was spot on......kudos to our President for his sincerity, patriotism and empathy. Nice to have someone in our White House who is intelligent, honest, sense of humor and actually has a heart.
 
You realized that the thing with BG was not phony from either side. Must absolutely kill R's that Biden can be that obviously genuine and that the person connecting with him feels genuine affection from him and for him.
