While it's fun to bash Trump, there's an important lesson here.

Do you know that inner city schools get far more funding than others?

In other words, he is insane.

Despite all the damage Trump has done, we still have the largest and most successful economy in the world with manageable inflation and record low unemployment.

Trump wants to change that. That is crazy.
Please explain what "damage" he has done. I am all ears.

Do you know that inner city schools get far more funding than others?
That what others?

I wouldn't be surprised that it takes more to run a school in NYC than it does to run one in Mobile Alabama or Tampa Florida. I'm looking at a list of the top 50 school districts and most tend to fall in NY/NJ or Chicago.

Or are you saying that a poor school in Mississippi gets more funding per pupil than the rich side of town?

I am saying that schools in high crime areas such as the inner cities get FAR more money AND armed guards.

I personally tend to think that capitalism cannot be trusted to run itself, and requires regulatory and legal limits to prevent the excesses it naturally trends towards, which will harm people.
Capitalism is an amoral system. Without regulation it's only concern is the maximization of profit.

Do you consider a government imposing tariffs to be a form of authoritarianism?

It is a form of stupidity. And it should be a function of Congress, not a crooked president pretending that we are in some sort of emergency situation which doesn’t exist. It is a protectionist move that in today’s world economy has little chance of a positive outcome, especially when poorly thought out and implemented merely on the whims of the shitty president.

You are saying things that aren’t evidenced by reality. Making things up, as ususal.

Democratic socialism doesn’t require a centrally planned economy. Even the US has elements of socialism to offset the harm caused by laissez faire capitalism left unchecked by any social concerns.

Trump does not believe in free market capitalism. If it is not rigged it is not what he wants. He is the reincarnation of the "Robber Barons" only much dumber. He is a moron actually.

In other words, he is insane.
Now the President is threatening to start a war with Iran.

CNN reports, "Trump said military strikes are possible against Iran if a new nuclear deal isn’t reached, though he said Israel – which has been advocating for an attack on Iran – would take the lead.

“If it requires military, we’re going to have military,” Trump said on Wednesday. “Israel will obviously be very much involved in that. They’ll be the leader of that.”

And creating alternative facts is something all Trumpers do.
Maybe, but you are also very good at it.

no question just pointing out that your post may not have meant as much as you thought it did
Since you are saying you did not intend to make sense, why should anyone care what you say?

Are you suggesting that is a primary goal of capitalism?

No, that's just one of the its many benefits, and I notice you didn't dispute it.

I would say the primary goal of capitalism is the efficient allocation of limited resources.

I don't dispute that capitalism, independent of various social conditions, has the ability to lift an individual from poverty.

I dispute wholeheartedly that that is a primary goal of capitalism, rather as you say merely a potential "benefit."

I would say the primary goal of capitalism is the efficient allocation of limited resources.

Then capitalism utterly fails that goal because it has no mechanism to deal with the massive inefficiencies in the form of externalities.
