Sponge. They taste way better than the ones from Tarpon Springs.
 
If there's a variation with whisky instead of sherry, I'd probably like that even more.
If you spoil any whisky in such manner, you deserve to be shot.

Reminds me of once visiting a pub in Scotland with a Japanese friend who ordered a whisky with water.

The landlord brought the water in a separate glass and with undisguised contempt said "ere,put't in y'sel"

If you'd have explained that in the pub I mentioned, you'd have been diluted yourself.

And not with water either.

But there's some merit to adding water, nevertheless. All to do with bringing up the flavor.

But it has to be the right amount of water, too much (like a whole glass) and you'd best switch to a cuppa tea.

Did you know apple pie is British?

It's not my favorite, but a lot of people like it, especially warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
