You know you are exactly right However, I truly believe it has more to do with how stupid the republicans can be. I mean they were willing to let this country go down the tubes so Obama looked like he had no successes during his tenure as POTUS. How do "those people" defend that?

I love it how conservatives try to pretend that slips of the tongue by speakers are the same as outright lies by tea party hacks like Bachmann.

I can tell the difference. I think everybody else can too. Yet, conservatives continue to dish out this meme. Mispronouncing corpsmen isn't the same as outright lies like Bachmann peddles.

Mike Castle, who was a shoe-in to win. Christine went on to do a commercial in which she inormed us that she was "not a witch", and eventually lost the seat to the democratic opponent. She implied that he needed to buck up and stop whining about being a loser. And so it goes.

First, any presidential vacation becomes expensive due to people wanting to kill them. Joe Biden may do fine as a VP, but I don't think anyone wants crazy joe as a president,. I think any reasonable person recognizes the need for security and expense when the leader of the US goes on a trip. I don't care which party the president is at the time. Then my next problem is that yeah the president needs some vacations. No matter which party they are they have a whole country full of ignorant trolls coming at them, they have to deal with a completely screwed up congress, they have to talk nicely with other world leaders with large sticks up their asses, and the stress level has got to be pretty high. I would prefer them to take a little downtime rather than blowing their top. Yes, i would rank the president's downtime as a little more important than a whiny conservative CPAC brat who couldn't get a whitehouse trip. If the place is a museum people should be allowed to visit then we should find a new place for the president to live. I am not really sure why the president lives in a museum in the first place. Security would be so much less costly for him if he lived in a secure house without random civilians just wandering through, but I guess you missed where it actually would cut expenses to stop white house visits. Either that or you just really don't care about the expenses of the president's life, you just wanted to complain about something and that was all you could find.
